You've got nothing to worry about. I'm in the same position. The status went from  "Administrative processing" to "refused". Been doing some research myself. I even sent an email to the embassy. I suggest you do so too if that makes you more at ease. I think they may have you retake you medical examination as your last one should have expired by now. The pandemic slowed the process down. Its not supposed to take this long.

We just got him/her to settle down and you and go and mess things up. :bonk:  :jest: We don't know when the interview took place as the OP hasn't updated their timeline. But what we do know is that ceac has changed dates on 1/13/21 so there is movement on his/her case. I'm going back to :pop:

How long has it been taken to get visa post interview? I read before that if you pick it up it is usually only a couple of days, but sounds like it has been taking longer? I little concerned because my husband's interview is Jan 28th and flight to the US is Feb 8th and it sounds like that may not be realistic!

My interview was dec 10th 2020 till  today my visa isn’t issued yet so my point is if you lucky enough in 7 business days maybe less but for me, it’s been like 3 weeks my isn’t issued yet so it’s unpredictable to tell you exactly

Was the CEAC website saying ready? Maybe that's why the fingerprints couldn't be taken?

We have our interview there in a couple of weeks. How did the interview go? Is the process fast?

Yes the website saying ready for the interview, good they took my passport and the police certificat i was missing for my first interview. If you got everything complete, every single lil documents for the process yes its gonna fast

My 2nd interview was fairly similar to the first one, they mostly asked about what has happened since the last time. However, just because you had a wrong document and were put into AP,  it doesn't mean you will have to go to a second interview. If they kept your passport then they might just send you your visa after they receive the right police certificate. It's different for different cases and consulates.

Yep they asked me to sent them the police certificate and my passport after the first interview, and then last week i received a mail from the embassy telling me that they scheduled me for a second interview and to bring the police certificate with me.

Hey guys, just wanted to make a post since my AP finally concluded after a year and a half of waiting since my first interview!
A month ago I got an email from the consulate saying they are ready for final processing of my visa, so I ended up sending in some updated documents and redoing my medical, went in for a second interview and got approved! Visa arrived less than a week ago and I am now already in the USA with my spouse, could not be happier!
Just felt inclined to post about my approval to give some hope to all of you still waiting in that demoralizing and nerve-wrecking process that is AP. I know how difficult it is and I know how hopeless it sometimes felt. That's why I'm making this post, because it always gave me hope to read about someone getting approved after all that waiting. Wish you guys all the best and a speedy end to AP, it could happen any time, you won't even see it coming!

Hello guys, I’m under AP for police certificate i took the wrong one to the interview for that I was received a 221g form. for my first interview everything was good the officer even gave a paper with a lot of info n number to call if i feel abuse when I get there in the USA abuse. My question is that what kind question they ask in the 2nd interview or they just took the missing documents from you?

    Hi guys!
God is great. My fiancées visa has finally been issued after 19 months of being in administrative processing. Couldn’t be happier!
thank you visa journey... I would always come in here for support, and there would be some people on here that would really help.

Hello, congrats I’m under AP my question did they ask for a second interview and some questions? Or did they just take the missing documents?

This is a good sign as they are about to complete the process but need a few loose ends to complete which included the PCC. Bring everything that you had for the first interview AND your PASSPORT to the interview. You are almost there.

Thx for your fyi I was a lil bit worried about why I need to do a second interview if the first one was approved, I will bring everything

  11. Hello guys, my first interview was November 2019 the officer told me everything was okay, he even gave some documents about when i arrive in the USA if I feel some abuse a number to call etc... but I received a refusal because I was missing a police certificate. Now I got it they ask me for a seconde interview and to bring the police certificate with me. It’s this a good sign o bad because the didn’t ask me to bring back all the documents only the certificate I don’t know if I have to bring all the documents again.
