I haven't experienced it, you must be getting very, very close to the end line! very exciting

I am desperate, I see people filling in June already getting interviews... I filled beginning of February and still nothing. I feel I might be the among the few ones still pending from February 😕

Sorry to hear that man. Just be patient...your time will come.

I did. My case was transferred about 5 months ago and only recently got approved. Originally at YSC and I don't know where it was transfered to. Filed I-751 in December 2020 and N-400 in December 2021.  Here's my I-751 timeline.

  3. Hi Guys!

    I'm a December Filer.

April 2nd, 2021 was the last notification I got from them stating that 'Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken'. And that they automatically extended my status to '24 months'.

This February I will be my 3 year anniversary as a married permanent resident. Was wondering If I should wait for my new green card or move forward in submitting online for N-400 (naturalization)?

    Thanks!

  4. Today we had our interview for my Green Card at the Sacramento office  at 8 o'clock in the morning. We got their way early and it was freezing outside. We had all our documents with us and we were over prepared for it. We waited a while, because apparently we noticed that they want to deal with all the applicants to U.S. citizenship path. Soon came our turn and we spent about 30 - 45 minutes with the officer. I honestly thought it went by really fast, but the officer was extremely nice and she had to do our job. The questions were basically about us on how we met till the time we've spent together before and after marriage. She didn't bother asking pictures. She ask me the 'yes' or 'no' questions from the I-485, which were pretty easy and went over some of the stuff the we filled in the I-485. Then she asked us for documents such as, affidavit of support like I-864, government ID's, EAD card, and other join documents to support our bonafide marriage. Other than that, she was really nice and also had a nice conversations. Hope this help for you all!

Good luck to you all and your time come soon.

Thanks for your response. I saw we submitted the packet at the same day and received EAD approval at the same time as well, except for my interview date ^_^

Congrats on this new. Could you share when you submitted the i485 packet ?

I submitted my I-485, I-130, and I-765 on the 24th of April, 2018. I waited for like 6-7 months to the point I realized that I'm outside the normal processing times for my EAD. So then it led to the point that I had to submit an Case Inquiry. After a month waiting, I said that I had enough and decided to go Congress to submit an congressional inquiry. That led to get this moving. So I instantly got approved 2 weeks later and received my EAD at the end of December. Then beginning of January I got my interview schedule. So I had to give thanks to my congresswoman and my lawyer for it.

Really? Thank you for your reply. That gives me hope.. x.

For us...I filled everything on the 24th of April, received an RFE in July and was able to respond back to them. Now my cases is still received and I'm still waiting for my EAD. I'm now outside the normal processing times, so recently I submitted an inquiry in my case. They said that the'll get back to me, so let's hope so.

Just got a text that my status has been updated. Went to the case status online site and saw that "my card has been mailed to me." No "card in production" or any of the other steps. I'm not complaining, it's been 191 days and I'm probably the last April filer to get their card. I will be cancelling my scheduled infopass appointment as that won't be necessary now.

I filled mine too on the 24th of April. And I still haven't gotten my EAD yet either. Congratz by the way!

I think that depends on the staff who works at USCIS. But if you ask help for this through the congressional request. I believe it will make it faster response for them to handle your case.

    Hi JloveN

Thank you for your response. I received an RFE in late June and I was able to respond to them back the next month with solid documents. Ever since then the only thing they said that they 'received' my RFE and that my case has been resumed. Other than that, I'm still waiting for my EAD😢

  9. Hi guys...Is there anybody whose case is still 'received'? My received date is on April 24th, I received an RFE on Jun 24th and I was able to send them the necessary documents. So then by the end of July they updated my case as 'RFE received". Ever since then still no update about my case. I was wondering if I should wait when it's outside the normal processing time, so then I could submit a SR to them? Or should I contact my lawyer or even my Sacramento City Congresswoman about it?

    Thanks!
