We are in Boston, perhaps because our case is a Combo of I-400 and I-751. We were expecting an interview scheduling as the next step. Not sure why instead we got a "transfer for review"

We’re most likely going to do the same thing you guys did. We’re going to cancel the check and send out a new check and paperwork to Dallas.
The service centers were recently changed, on 9/11 I believe. We resent the package before this change, so it went to Vermont. Right now VT and CA no longer accept 751s.

us a new address where the paperwork has to go to now. As of earlier this month, the I-751 has been changed to Dallas, Tx instead of California. We had to send an email to LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov to forward our paperwork to Dallas. We did put a USPS tracker and it shows that USCIS did receive our paperwork on 10 Aug 2018. Should we resend another copy of the I-751 and check for $680 to Dallas or wait for a respond from USCIS?
Just giving our scenario of what happened and how we dealt with it. We forwarded our package to California instead of Vermont by mistake on 8/23. On 9/4 realized we made a mistake. Reassembled a new package and mailed it to the correct service center on 9/5. We also called the bank and put a stop payment on the check that was sent to the wrong center in order to avoid case duplication. The original package has not returned to us yet, CA center is backlogged so I do not anticipate receiving that until at least end of September or October. Vermont center just issued and sent the extension letter to us.

As far as I understood the process, biometrics is the next step which should happen in about a month. And then you wait for 14-17 months for approval. Then some people are called for interview and others are not... Interesting process.
It is also a bit confusing because some people file for Naturalization before ROC approval thinking that will speed things up.... Still a bit confused on this...

I am a bit worried and checking to see if I am in panic too early:)
8/23 - mailed package
8/24 - packaged received and return receipt mailed back to us
9/4 - called bank to check if our certified check has been cashed and the answer was NO....
So no NOA yet
Anyone else in similar situation?

We filed end of June and just received an interview date of 12/7 in Lawrence, MA. We do have I-751 still pending.
