Hi all! I'm a late november filler. I just got the NOA1 on the mail but i noticed they didn't have any priority date, is that normal? or when do they assign you a priority date? Thanks!

Hello July fillers! Just wanted to uptade you all that they’re currently working on our “case number”. I called today and i got mine, my Noa1 is July 18th and Noa2 Dec 27th, is currently at NVC. 

Hang in there, Call the NVC and ask them about your case status. Make sure you have your receipt number next to you, they asked my name, date of birth and they were ready to update my information, the case was received Jan 10th!

I guess I’m too late now. We just got our noa2 on 12/28/18. We’re going to wait and see what our case number says, now that everything seems to be “better” in the country. How long did it take you to get your case number after they sent you the NOA2? I already started gathering papers for the interview and for when i get back to Nic but i want to have everything ready before leaving cause i still don’t know if my fiance will be with me during the interview. Did you get packet 3?

We just got out NOA2 on the mail, i think that now it must be too late so we’re just going to wait to see what they say. We were thinking on waiting 2 weeks even though the letter said wait up to 30 days for the case number. How long did You all wait for it? im currently in the US, what papers should i get ready before i go back to NIC?

@Amy J Hdz I wouldn't see a problem, but things have cleared up somewhat at the embassy in Managua so I would definitely think about what would work out the best for your situation. I just had my interview and have talked to other applicants who went through the interview in Managua and everything seems to be running normal.

If i wanted to update the embassy, do you know what should i do? I’m waiting for the noa2. Also, how long did it take you to schedule your interview? 

Hi! I’m from Nicaragua and my fiancé from Jersey. We applied in july, when the embassy was closed so we decided to use Costa Rica instead, i do have family there but I didn’t write it down on the i129f, i was planning to go there get everything done and just wait to come back to Nicaragua and leave to the USA once i had the visa in hands. Do you think that might be a problem?
