  1. Four months under Refused and admin process finally on Monday status changed to return to NVC and today my fiancé got email saying

    your documents are collected from US Embassy. when she went to pick up documents she got this letter. I been calling NVC here for last two days and they say they have not gotten anything yet.

    Can I still try to contact local congressman? (can someone point me towards contacting congressman/senator in state of Indiana please)

    Is my petition dead? am I allowed to start another petition? (CR-1 maybe) or do I have to wait till this one expires?

    from what I understand from letter is CO did not have enough information (about me and my fiancé). before her interview when she offered documents from k-1 package I sent her, paper collecting lady only took I-129 and affidavit of support papers and return everything else. why they didnt take all the documents?

    please advice on what to do next.

  2. :crying:  my fiancé checked status today, it says it returned to NVC. Since sep 6 2019 it said refused but on 221(g) it said under admin process, we don't know reason it was refused and when connected consulate few times they said we are working on it you will get email or SMS neither of those happened. I think I am out luck here.

    Not sure what to do next get married and file for CR1 or try to contact my local congressman? I am in Indiana. :help:

  3. My fiancé had an interview today (Sep 6) at Mumbai, female CO asked my fiancé various question, she answered those question and gave accurate relevant dates. at end of interview while handing passport back to my fiancé goes CO "now my side  is pending and we will get back to you" and wishes her good day and bye. my fiancé didn't know that it was 221(g) letter in her passport. it said "your case is under administrative processing. We will contact you once the administrative processing is complete."

    but once she got home she check ceac status it says "Refused"

    does this mean its denied and I need to try something else? problem is I have already paid for some planned wedding expense and was planing visit her in India in November. should I put my plans on hold? or Try filing I-130 and get married when I go see her?

  4. Like I said US embassy or Consulate in her country already found her case. I thought she was pose to receive something in mail from NVC and then prepare for interview. they also said they mailed her something 45 days ago as of now she doesnt have any instruction on what to do next. I need to know if I can extend validity noted in I-797 which I received back in April.

    so do I need to call NVC here and ask them to extend it?

    or she needs to call US embassy or Consulate at her end?

    I also need to prepare for I-134 dont know if I have enough time for it or not and if 19K a year is enough or not if current household includes only me.

  5. Hello,

    my fiancé never revived NOA2 in mail. I called NVC here but didnt get through, I also emailed them. I asked my fiancé to call US embassy at her end after like 6 days she got through. they said they mailed NOA2 to her like 45 days ago. (lost in mail or something?). on I-797 approval notice there is expiration date for end of august. is there way to extend this? who do I need to contact to get it extended? also is 19k a year enough for I-134 for household of one? or do I need to get a someone else to co-sponsor.

    Thanks

    Any credit card transactions showing you  there? Passport stamps should be good

    nope, I took cash in for better exchange rate. I am having my fiancé snail mail me typed and singed letter.

    1) Color passport copies

    2) Letters from both of us

    3) Color copy of bill from venue (resort) its dated and has our names

    I am also thinking have signed letter from manager who worked as resort stating that he organized everything there and he witnessed me actually being at my engagement with his contact information, not sure if he will do it or not but will try.

  7. I just got RFE letter for two year meeting requirement.

    It says itineraries I have submitted are not sufficient. also says disc, videos, emails, letters, phone bills and greeting cards does not constitute evidence of meeting in person. :(

    but when I filed I-129F I included letter of intent, copy of eticket (it says it eticket on title but USCIS is thinks its itinerary?), our engagement ring bill, photos of us together and photos  our engagement. also chat logs.

    letter also says evidence may include, but not limited to:

    copies of airline ticket stubs and receipts (that indicate month, day and year);

    copies of passport pages that shows the identification pages and admission stamps;

    any evidence that will help the USCIS to determine that you have met the beneficiary within two year; and/or

    a written statement from you or the beneficiary stating the you have met in person and containing details of the date and circumstances of the meeting (if you submit a person statement it must be detailed and supported by additional evidence)

    to prove my citizenship I sent copy of my naturalization certificate, my passport was gone for renewal.

    so should I send copies of all pages of expired passport? (I dont have boarding passes)

    can bill from venue where we got engaged count as evidence?

    should my fiancé write typed or hand written letter and can she send me scanned copy of it?

    what else can use as evidence of meeting?

    thanks.
