What! Argh, that is frustrating. I think you might be able to still go in for an interview with the one you had and let them know you got a new check completed. THey might just hold onto your passport until the check is confirmed. Did your lawyer advise you on what to do?

My cc was July 13th. Montreal. Still waiting on Interview. They will be booking October interviews this week.

The NVC number. They will not know a time frame for you specifically. But what you can ask is if they are still scheduling interviews for the following month for your embassy.

I called yesterday and they said are still scheduling for September interviews for Montreal this week. My CC was July 13. 

Also the person who got an interview September 25th, ccJuly 11, that was for her son, I believe that falls under a different visa type.

Fairly confident in saying that you'll both receive your interview dates for September. Cutoff date last month was 21st or so. Nonetheless, you should know by the end of today or Monday latest given they schedule interview dates for countries all in the same day, and they were done by the equivalent Friday of last month, at least from what I saw on VJ. Scheduling was a bit weird because it was first forwarded to the consulate and then scheduled by them (not NVC) at the consulate's request, as there were August appointments open still and my cc was almost a month ago. I assume the September Brazil CR1/IR1 interviews will be scheduled very soon now by NVC. Good luck!

The reason I ask is because last month Canada received interview dates the day after Rio did
