Congrats on passing the N400 interview. When did you file your I-751 application?

My case was transferred from VSC to Texas about 70 days ago, maybe there is hope for me!

    Thank you.

Just got a notification my card was picked up by USPS.  I filed I751 on Feb 7th 2018 (suppose to be November 2017).  N400 window opened at December 2018.

    Wish you the best luck

  2. Hi everyone

Previously my case transferred from VSC to TSC on 2/13/2019. Today I received E400 interview notice (filed in December 2018 at california center) .

I filed naturalization by myself this time. I asked my attorney he told me it's more complicated than having 751 approved then filing for citizenship. It's all up to immigration officials to determine if they can process both 751 and N400 together.  By submitting citizenship application without 751 approval, I'm forcing the issue and it’s immigration office’s discretions how they want to process both of my applications, it’s possible i will be asked to provide additional documents to convince the officer that I maintain a faithful marriage. He's suggestion is to prepare as much faithful marriage evidence as I can,  joint tax returns, joint bank account statements, insurance in both names, joint credit cards and statements, lease agreement listed both our names as tenants, birth certificate of children (if any), and pictures depicting our life together as husband and wife.

Hopefully GC can be approved before interview April 25 :)

  3. Hi everyone

Today I just received my first 18 month extension notice. It shows notice date August 6th 2018 on that green paper. Then I get confused.

I moved from NY to LA at the end of July.  In this way,  I updated the address change online on August 1st . But it seems USCIS mails are still sent to the previous address. Luckily I set up the mailing forward at the beginning of August. Is it normal to take more than two months to forward and arrive today???

USCIS has a new system recently. I found case history of address change records in old system . New system only shows the record of fingerprint review was completed. At this moment, Do I need to confirm USCIS with address change? Should I call or written in paper?

    thanks

    Peter

    Nice nice!

Thanks for all the details, made it really easy for me adding you to the tracking table.

As for your moving address, lots of us haven't received the 18-month extension letter yet so I think you're still good. Have you set-up mailing forwarding in USPS?

Many of us will be filling for naturalization as soon as the window opens. It's true that you need an approved I-751 form, but I have also read that filing N-400 can expedite the I-751. However, things are constantly changing at USCIS and timelines that are true today, often aren't in 3-6 months time.

Thank you for adding me to tracking table. I would love to share my status with all February filers.

I set up USPS mailing forward before I relocated states. So far I haven't received anything about 18-month extension letter yet. My case status is at Fingerprint review was completed 4/11/2018.

  5. Hi everyone

Here's my I751 status, filed at VSC.

    Submission date  2/7/2018

    NOA Received 2/11/2018

    Biometrics 3/29/2018

    Fingerprint review was completed 4/11/2018

I moved from NYC to LA on August 1st 2018, and then I received address change notification after ten days. but I haven't receive 18 month extension letter yet. Is this normal?

My naturalization window will open on November 21st 2018, should I apply while I751 is pending ?

    Thanks

    Peter
