Hello, Guys I'm just trying to see if anyone can give a clue of how my sister can be helped. She has been her for almost 9yrs on visiting Visa hoping that things can go well so that she can get help through work but unfortunately her work CEO passed and since then she has not been working and all I need now is an advise on what she can do to get employment Authorization.

Justjoeny91, I think you and I are thinking so much alike. My fiance's interview was also yesterday in in Manila. She called about 9am Manila time and said, "I am successful." I asked her if she has a receipt or written approval on a piece of paper (I didn't think to ask about the 'pink slip' I have read about on VJ) ... and she said, "the interview lady gave me a thumbs up and smiled, then I went and paid DELBROS." So, I am hoping that means it's final and she really passed. I'll call her in a little bit to get more assurance. For sure she was talking faster and higher-pitched and louder than I have ever heard her, so I can only assume it's all good news. I'll keep y'all posted and tell you any details that could be helpful for anyone going the process when I know for sure ...

Hello Guys which Country are we talking about here? But all the same If Visa is approved in which ever country the embassy holdon to your passport or tell you when to come get it back at the embassy, but in a case you go back home with your Passport then that is no approved visa....... In this Case I want to believe it is an Approved case....... Best of Luck for further progress cos this is just the beginning.......

I as a person will not want you to make a big mistake in life , but since she/he has apologise, to forgive is divine then go ahead and forgive her/him cos you never can tell who the next date may be? So we are all liers as long as life is concern...... You have both gone through alot together. Please in Christ name find a place in your heart to forgive and forget it could be anyone........

I joined this forum a few weeks ago, and I have read most of the posts in this forum and have enjoyed everybody's post. This forum has provided a wealth of information, and encouragement to me. I am still waiting for an interview date from the Lagos consulate. According to the NVC, the case was sent to Lagos on Oct. 31st, and from the DHL tracking it should have been received by the Lagos consulate around Nov. 2. I've sent several emails and I get the same response " there is no record of this case in the system" I am getting a little frustrated, but again maybe I'm just a little impatient especially since the I-129F was approved in 13 days much to my amazement. I'm not sure how much longer I have to wait for this precious interview date. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Dont get yourself so boarderd its take time, once your packakge is receive the Lagos Consulate will get in-touch with you through phone call and at times they will forward the package to the address you gave while filling.

My husband received his EAD card on Monday. The middle initial of his name is wrong. What do I need to do to get it corrected or should we just wait until he get his Green Card and have it corrected then?

Hello dear, you guys should just call call them back if not you will start bearing a new name and remember that........ if you dont report it they will think its right so dont gamble with it in order not to have an unwanted name in yor GC do all they ask you to do, its for your own sake.......... Hello VJ Team I am so sorry for my constance disturbances, now I have read couple of post talking about second medicals after the one they took abroad? My Questions is how will you know if you will be requested to take another Medicals? Will you receive an Rfe for that? Is it before you receive your Intial Interview Letter for AOS , or after that? cos right now I am so scared that I dont know what to do so that if there wil be need for me to start contacting my family members for financial Assistance...... Please I need all you replies ASAP .

Second Q? How long does it take for GC to arrive? If you are call for the GC interview does that mean it is approved? Will the new EAD card received not be a barrier cos coupled with lots of post that I have read they request for alot of stuffs, such as joint Account, bills, Insurance and so many others but to me the EAD card will just be exactly one month at the time of the Interview and I pray I already get a job so I dont know what this might cost us.............. Please help lift our souls with you urgent supports

I received my EAD today in the mail and my AOS Interview is next month, please can anyone tell It Its very possible my Passport will be stamp or will be approved? Also, I am so scared of all this second medicals I pray I wont have to go through it again cos Its Expensive and there seems to be no money since none of I and my Hubby is presently working? Though it will be One year in August since I took the Medical abroad? Please I need Serious help.

You need to go and file anothere form I will ask my Husband for the form in question cos same happened to us while he was filling........ I was denied a visiting Visa and I also

state that I had no one in USA, so his lawyer advice he pick the form. You can just mail me tomorrow thru Visa Journey......... And I promise to give you all details fear not all is well.

I may have a serious problem on my hands. I met my finance Dec 06, she is from Russia. I visited her Jan23-03. We got engaged Jan24. I came home with all the K-1 documents that I needed. After some discussion(initial lust) we decided to take a step back (we postponed the engagement). We decided to get her a tourist visa to see if she would like USA, culture, etc. She was denied Feb 20. On the appilication she answered "no" to "Fiance a US Citizen". We were not technically engaged. After the denial we decided to go ahead with K-1 and I sent the K-1 Feb 26 207 . The K-1 documents I sent are dated from Jan 07. Is this going to be a problem at the interview??? To them it may look like I tried to get her to USA on tourist fiance then sent the K-1. They will clearly see the K-1 documents with jan07 dates and cross check them with the feb07 denied tourist visa where she answered "no" to fiance living in USA, even though we postponed engagement. Do I take the chance?????? I think I may cancel K-1 and go to Russia and marry her then send K-3 to remove these documents dated jan07. I dont want her banned from USA or anything. I have a feeling the Consul will think we are lying. Help!!!

Well, I think I will go ahead with the K-1. I think I may email the US Embassy in Moscow and describe my situation and see what they say. I dont know!!

One month now and We still dont receive the NOA that CSC Receive our AOS and We kind of Worried little and even We Sent them Email To California and they Say that they Dont give any info for public and We have to Call the USCIS number ....

Congratulations to you guys but Q? for you did you received EAD before the AOS Interview? I am curious to know... Once again congrats

So because I'm part geek and part crazy person I created this small script that runs on my desktop to count down the days since our application date, since the last touched dates for our AOS and EAD, and to our interview appointment for the AOS.

It's been 53 weekdays (cuz I assume the USCIS peeps don't work on weekends) since our application date, and I got a lovely email from CRIS just as I got back from lunch. Hubby's EAD's been processed!!!

Course there's the "wait 30 days" disclaimer but eh well. Just wanted to share the good news with you all, and here's to more luck to come our way...interview's in [checks countdown script] 6 days, 19 hours, and 6 minutes!

Base on the little that I know of through any of the POE it takes no time at all except it is re-entry but been the 1st time you are just too free it will only take less than 10mins except the line is long........ Congratulations

I don't know if this is the right forum or not to ask this question, OK, we finally got our visa and bought our tickets to head back to the States from Nicaragua. We'll be going through the POE at Miami to clear customs. We arrive in Miami at 11:20 AM, our connecting flight leaves Miami at 1:10 PM, we'll have 1 hour and 50 minutes to clear customs and get to our gate, or almost 2 hours. How long does it take to bring your wife, no kids through customs at Miami POE? Anyone been through Miami POE lately? how long did it take you to go through the process? I might be cutting it too close, I didn't think about how long it would take to go through customs when I bought the tickets. Would they help out if you told them your flight is leaving soon? Anybody who can offer any help, I would really appreciate it

I received a letter for an Initial Interview on 16th of May, while I was going through my Document this Morning I discover that the Pass Port I had my Visa on will be expiring the following Month which June. Please I need help what Can I do. Will I still be Approved base on tha?

I received a letter for Initial appoointment date. Can anyone let me have an idea of what the appointment day is goling to be like and what is required to go with?

Your husband will always be your main sponsor.... if he does not meet the income requirements then what you need is a co-sponsor... if you have found someone who is willing to be a co-sponsor then you need to complete the forms for that person and submit them along with the evidence of there income...

My dear dont play with your staying here in the United State, how can you file for adjustment of status while you dont have marriage certificate proof? I must let you know that is only God that can help you out, just go on your kneels and pray hard b4 you go for the interview and i believe God can do wonders. But to file for AOS you must be married. Take care
