Hello and good afternoon, I filed for my parents in January 2023 and was approved in January 2024. Also in 2024, they were both DQ'd in February 2024; this is March of 2025. Anyone with this same issue? The location is Lagos, Nigeria and still waiting. Filling via uscis 2023 January Uscis Approval 2024 January NVC approval Feb 2024 Currently waiting patiently. Anyone on this time frame.

Because apparently you have to keep in contact with NVC even if you’ve paid all of your fees and were dq’d. It’s been a year for them and due the fact that they just waited for a decision and didn’t reach out that’s why it’s being cancelled. I’ve personally never heard of such a thing. I was able to find it online though.

Hi there, and happy afternoon. I was curious if anyone knew anything about an I-130 that was canceled because the petitioner and the NVC didn't communicate. A friend called me today to tell me that his case was going to be canceled and that it has been more than a year since he was documentarily qualified . He also said that he has received a letter stating that he will have to reapply. Just curious because I’ve never heard of this happening.
