I'm still waiting to get a case number (8th week is next week), do you think they will still assign me a case number and collect all the documents then stop at the interview phase?

Oh I see.. as far as I know if you’ve been given an interview date you are good because it means there’s allotted visa for you..

As long as your interview date is August you’re still fine.. the retrogression happened in September visa bulletin will only take effect starting September 1st..
