  1. the suspense is killing me... for all of us who filed so close together!!!!!!!!

in a way i'm grateful that i can't check my email when i'm at work. i am gone for a full day and come home to check once at night. otherwise i'd be going crazy checking all day! :help:

i'm off to work now. so good luck everyone! i hope i see some NOA2's for you all when i get back! :star:

  2. In 2004 I made about 25000 , in 2005, I made about 26000$ . In 2006 (last year) I made only 5500$ due to 4 trips to vietnam. I left the company as absence (didnt get paid while I was away, and I can come back after a period of time like 6 or 9 months something like that) . so my situation now is full time employed by IBM Corp, I also have a letter from my manager stated that I've been working for the company since 2004 and my rate is 18$/hour . so when my fiancee goes to the intview, can she bring my income tax of 2004, 2005 and the 2007 pay stubs plus my bank statement ? Do I need a co-sponsor for this case ?

    Thank you in advance .

  3. Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here and I wish I found VJ sooner. This site is very helpfull and informative.

Right now I have my case delayed. The interview on 2/27/2007 at HCMC for my fiancee did not have a good outcome. The green slip stated that I need more proof of income and was asked for a 1722 letter.

My question is: Can a K1 Visa have a Joint sponsor for I-134 affidavit of support? I got confused when reading this forum. Some got approved with joint sponsors and some opinions stated otherwise.

Can someone confirm this. And what about asset, like a house, to contribute to the financial support?

I love my girl so much and we both are so sad.

Thanks so much for your opinions. :help:

    YES

  4. I just got back this sunday too, company just sold, it's crazy. I'm glad that they a pushing me hard at work. Make time go by quicker even though only been back 4 days. It's feel like months when ever I'm not busy. Even worst when after I talk to her. We knows we suppose to be happy but for some reason we're both happy to be sad and missing each other company. it's a bitter sweet kinda deal.

tway22. I reading your story and got real upset at the people who get over here by paying other. Those are the one who really ruin us.

27 more days until my fiance interview... and I'm missing her every single free moment. Thai try to keep busy that's way time go by faster. Can you eat the last few days? I remember when I just got back before I submitted the application I couldn't taste any food for almost 3 weeks.

yeah, I was back to the states on Sunday too (via Korean Air) . I can not do anything but talk to her on the phone , chat via yahoo IM, video chat on SKYPE. We have our web cam on like 24/7 . Here is the deal. When I get home from work, I turn my laptop on and cam on, she then can view it. I also have access to her PC, so I can view her wc too, even she's still sleeping. I just lay on bed and watch her until I fall asleep. when she wakes up, she starts watching me sleeping plus some chinese movie sometimes. when I wake up, talk to her for about 30 minutes or an hour. then i turn off my laptop and go to work. when I get to work, turn my laptop back on and start viewing her web cam and chatting via Yahoo IM . so spritually we are in touch 24/7 ...... I dont want to mention here about the XXX stuffs .

  5. I can relate and would end up spending hours on the phone. We finally ended up doing more Yahoo Messenger each day to try and cut the $600 a month phone bill down.

Last year after I met and left her (April 2006), my long distance fee was minimum 1000 $ /month . We talked for hours on the phone . It has been like that for about 8,9 months. Couple months ago we found out Skype and Yahoo , that saved me alot of money . I'm at work at keep staring her web cam . eventhough she's sleeping now . I just want to quit everything and be with her .....

  6. Fact:

    1. You've and your "fiance" never been married or registered your marriage with anyone officially (both US and VN government) Yes/no?

    2. Do you pay child support to the mother of your child in the US?

    This is what I think:

    1. If you say yes, you need the divorce decreed. If you say no, none issue!

    2. This will affect your I-134 Affidavit of support form, your poverty guideline will be adjusted to cover both you, your child, your fiance and if your fiance's daughter comes along. (4 people)

About the daughter, you can apply for her and her mother to come along. I'm not sure if your fiance needs a permisiion from the daughter's father to leave the country. Clear that up with a good lawyer if you need one, we can recommend but not through Public forum. Many of us talks about the famous lawyer here on VJ Vietnamese specific case. But yeah, she can bring her daughter along with her or you can later petition to bring the child here once her mother arrives. But just to give you an idea...

Hope I answer your question.... others please chime in...

    Question 1 = No

    Question= N0

I dont think her ex-boyfriend does not have any power to permit her leave the country. He left her and the kid since she was in her 4th month pregnancy . I'm shooting an email to that laywer as we speak.

  7. Here is the situation :

4 years ago I had a daughter with my now ex-girlfriend. I put in my SSN# at the hospital to accept that's my daughter etc. so I'm legally the father of my child .

3 years ago my fiancee in Vietnam got pregnant with her now x-boyfriend and gave birth to her daughter . The fact is after 4 months of prenancy, the father of the kid found out it was a girl so he left both of them until now. so her daughter never had a father legally or spritually . even in the paper the father name is UNKNOWN .

so now I'm filling the K1 , my fiancee parents don't want her grand-daughter to go over here (USA) with us, because she raised the kid since she was 1 year old (my fiancee must work to support the whole family)and they can't live without her now . It won't be a problem for me if she(my fiancee)brings the kid with her, but she told me let's wait until her daughter grows older.

So what should I do ? what steps do I need to do ? Do you have the similar problem and how did you resolved it ? Will the consular officer focus on the children factor ?

    Thank you ,

    TP
