  1. I had my interview for F4 visa from Bangladesh on 13th January and the Counselor asked me for the UK Police certificate as I was in UK for 3 years. I have submitted UK Police Certificate after 4 days of my interview. After the interview, the visa status was "Ready" until yesterday ( almost 40 days). And today the status changed to " Administrative Processing". What does it indicate? Shall I wait for long long time?( As Administrative Processing require long time to resolve). I am passing very frustrating time about this issue.

  2. Very recently I have done my F4 Visa interview. They asked me for the Police clearance Certificate of UK where I resided for 2 years about 14 years back and I have submitted my PCC to the document pickup location. Now when I check in the website of Visa profile creation, I have found the message

“Your passport is being delivered to Post". What does this message mean? Though Visa is not approved yet.

Hi. Very recently I have done my interview in the US-embassy of Dhaka, Bangladesh. 2 days prior of my interview, I have noticed that I did some mistake in my DS-260's previous address section where it says " Have you lived anywhere other than this address since the age of sixteen?" Before my interview I made a written statement where I mentioned all the necessary correction of my previous address including 2 years of stay in UK and my plan was to submit the statement to the consulate during my interview. But when I told the officer that , I need to do some correction in my DS-260 and I have made a statement , she said she does not need it. She took my passport and gave me a letter stating that I have to submit UK PCC. I have applied for the UK PCC already and hope I shall get it by next few days.

Now, do I need to do any further correspondence (email to US embassy) about my previous address correction?

Please give me your valuable suggestion.

  4. Does anyone have idea about  Immigrant Visa Outreach program which is a presentation, followed by a Q/A session on how to legally immigrate to the United States and how the applicants can better prepare themselves for their immigrant Visa interview which is organized by US embassy in Dhaka? The name of the program is " Immigrant Visa Clinic in Dhaka - August 2018"

    1.  NVC completes case documentation collecting.

    2.  NVC notifies country consulate.

    3.  Country consulate schedules appointment, and notifies NVC.

    4.  NVC notifies applicant of date.

    5.  NVC sends case to country consulate.

NVC is correct.  They must receive the interview date from your country's consulate before they send it .

Hey! I am concern about this topic as my sister does have the same issue. My question is , how does the country consulate schedule appointment for interview? My assumption is, The consulate does not ask for any specific candidate's documents. instead he asks the NVC to send something like 50 quantity of documents for the interview to be scheduled at a time. And if so, the NVC should send the docs to the local consulate on the basis of "first come first service" considering the priority date too.Am I right or wrong?

  7. Hi. Thanks a lot for your response. My priority date is 3rd January 2005 and it became current on March 2018 Visa bulletin in the  "DATES FOR FILING" chart. But in the final action chart it is not current yet. In the latest visa bulletin of July 2018, 15th November 2004 is the current in the final action date chart. I have received the case completion letter on 14th of May,2018 which mention that "The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant’s visa application.........  NVC schedules appointments one month in advance.  The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified.  Most appointments are set within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation.  However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current."
