I sent them email.

They did not reply me.its more than 7 days now. But our cases get update after 2 days. 3 of our 4 cases get update for the first time. Before that they were just updating 1 case after each month.

My case always updated on Friday. and usually updated after a month. what does it mean?

I have petitioned for my wife’s CR1/IR1 Visa. It took almost a year time for our I-130 to be approved no RFE at that time too our case was in additional review that was informed to us by USCIS. Finally after approval we had our interview in march 2018 after a long wait of almost a year and half since we filed I-130 petition. She collected the packet which contained another 221 g letter stating that her file is incomplete and to submit her passport along with a new police clearance certificate PCC. We obtained the new PCC and she submitted passport and new PCC about 2weeks ago. Since then our case status still shows READY there has been last case updates date changes for a couple of times last on 6th July but since nothing else no news at all. When I wrote to support they mention my case is still in AP. It’s very confusing. Please can someone shed any light on this. What’s going on ? What does this mean? This is driving us crazy... thanks 

If your case is updating on regular basis then its a good sign, its mean somone is working on your case. Have faith you ll get your visa soon.

When they issue visa they update case daily for 5, 6 days and then status would change to issued.

Do mention your case number, name, intrview date and visa category in the email text... Okay I will look into this congressmen thing.. But honestly, I don't think anything can make them approve our visas.. Administrative processing is a waiting game...why your father took so long for his asylum approval?

Its a long story. Case got rejected by many courts because the incompetency of the lawyer then my dad changed his lawyer and finally got approval from higher court.

I confirmed it from my father, any one can contact congressman of one's area. 

If he took your case then he ll provide you updates and will keep following your case. I think its a good option to try.

Please tell me the email address of embassy on which you send emails.

Yes he got. I think after getting green card one can contact congressman.

How do you sent them emails? Through their inquiry form? What did they reply? They did not reply me even once.

Our case updated on fridays every time.

And usually after a month it is updated.

Did not your mom get help from her lawyer? Can a lawyer do anything in such case?

There is another option, inquiry through congressman. Have you tried it?

He is there since 2001. Applied after arrival.but it took 16 years to approve.

We are not minor. But unmarried children are eligibal under child protection act bcz his case was pending in court.

Yes.

He got asylum in oct 2016.applied For us on jan 17. Approved on nov 17.

i have the same case. main applicant is my father. our interview was on march 14, 2018. they asked for DNA. we went through the process of DNA and Lab sent the report on april 10. since then no update. i sent them 3 emails but received no reply. now i ll send them letter by courier.
my case updated on 13 april, 11 may, 29 june.

They have all the previous record on old registers. They see in it and then enter it into computer and then issue a computerized BC. 

What happens usually is that they dont have record or there is some mistake in name etc.. Then they ll ask for bribe. Then it ll depend on your links and negotiation skills. They can take 5 thousand to 30 thousand for 1 BC. Which does not have old record.

NICOP or CNIC have nothing to do with BC.

My father put our cases for immigration.

She accepted all documents and interviewed us. But she asked for DNA of one of my younger sister. Because of her she put our cases in AP as well. She said that just provide my sister's DNA n then she will issue visas for all of us.we are 4 family members here.our interview was on 14 march. We went through the process of DNA and LAB sent the result on 10 april. 

Co asked for DNA and we provided on 10 april.

Case updated on 13 april, 11 may, 29 june 2018.

But still showing AP. Its been more than 3 months now.

We have not met our father for 18 years.

I dont know how much more time this AP ll take.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I sent them 3 emails using this form but they never reply me even once.

Union council of ths area where your birth has been registered, issues birth certificate. Parents or sibling ID card is required.
