As happy as I am to hear you say this, I havent seen a single IR 1/CR 1 issued in 2018. And I have talked to a LOT of people. In fact, there was a recent news article about just this : https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/coveted-waivers-for-trumps-travel-ban-remain-elusive-for-citizens-of-muslim-majority-countries/2018/05/22/d48cc8d8-48b6-11e8-827e-190efaf1f1ee_story.html?utm_term=.5218cc941eb7
You are the first person to say that IR1s have been printed (visa in hand) in 2018. Its almost hard to believe :-)
I'm sure about it sir . You can go to the immigrant visa statistics site and see how many IR 1/CR 1 visas have been granted to people from the countries included in the ban .

Did anyone who got a visa use a lawyer? If so, can you please PM me the contact information for the lawyer?
No sir , the embassy issued their visas without having a lawyer . I know so many people who got their visas since the ban .

Hi guys , my case got updated today . This is the fifth time for my visa case to get updated since I did the interview. Is this an indication for getting the visa issued ? I know one of my friends who had the same case as mine and his case got updated five times and it was issued after three days since the last update .

Did anyone get a visa after December 7th 2017? The bona fide exception was only valid until mid october. After that, no new fiance visas have been given that I know of.
Yes Sir, I know a lot of people, from the countries included in the trump ban, whose interviews were after December and they were given visas after staying three to four months under administrative processing. That's regarding to R-1 visa not fiancé visa .

Are you sure you got the waiver? Mostly I have read they give you a form saying you are being considered for a waiver. I have heard very very few people actually getting successful waivers and visas after December 2017
Yes that's what they gave me . But 100% waiver will be approved due to the undue hardship and having a bona fide with an American citizen. I know a lot of people from my country who were given such a thing and their visas were issuied after spending three to four months in the administrative processing. I highly appreciate your comment. Thank you.

Unfortunately they didn't keep my passport. They gave it back to me after the interview as they do with all people I know . My wife is an American citizen and My visa is R-1 visa . I just don't know what's the best way to speed up the process . Highly appreciate your comment . Hats off to you .

Hi everyone,
I'm from Yemen, one of the countries that trumps ban includes . Me and my wife attended my visa interview At the us embassy in Amman Jordan in February 11, 2018 and they gave us a waiver for the presidential proclamation ban. We submitted all the documents required from us and our case has been under the administrative processing since then. My wife sent a message to the embassy 10 days ago and we received the following email from the embassy . I know several people from my country who had their interview her in Amman Jordan and they were given a waiver like me . Their interviews were one month before ours .Their cases took three months and half to be completed in the administrative processing and their visas were issued . I just wonder what's going on with our case during this step and when to expect having my case issued . If anyone knows any information regarding to this, I will highly appreciate your help . Is it okay to contact the senator or the department of state ?
Thanks a million .
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your email.
This case is pending administrative processing per Section 201(c)(3) of the Enhanced Border Security and Visa Entry Reform Act of 2002 (Public Law 107-173). This law requires the Department of State to coordinate with other federal law enforcement agencies to determine the admissibility of an alien to the United States.
We periodically request a status update from these agencies and as of yet, we have not received a final approval for the mentioned beneficiary.
Please be assured that we are vigilantly working to bring closure to this case and to reunite this/your family.
If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
