and how consulate asked from me new i-864 and tax transcript and police certificate from albania (diff country) if they dont need it and dont need to review it ?

Once case is handed to consulate, the role of NVC is over. That does not mean no further information is required. Consulate may ask you as many additional information they want to process your visa.

they asked me  to bring my albanian Police certificate  wich os different  country  and i studied there  and they asked me yo bring that  after interview , seems they god  albanian police  certificate  befor  CEAC reviewing our AOS and tax transcript  ,  i also confused how is posible to print visas befor all documents is accepted by NVC (CEAC)

Once your case is handed to consulate, NVC had nothing to do with new uploaded documents. All uploaded documents go to consulate directly without any wait time.

I wasn't able to get health insurance until 10 weeks after I moved as my SSN didn't come through. I was under the understanding that you could get medical without SSN, and we tried. Moral of the story though, get it is you can, I broke my tooth two days before I was officially covered. Bill was $1200 but we negotiated down to $900, we were lucky to afford it. I was worried as I also have asthma. My UK doctor gave me 12 months worth of medicine to tide me over as well or I would have been up s**t street due to the delay in my SSN. I did tick the SSN on DS-260 too so make sure you chase that as it seems a lot of us had to wait a long time for them. I moved April 2020.

I am insured now, but if you can get it, get it to take the weight off your mind.

We have also ticked for SSN on DS-260 and entered USA 1st week of July. How long did it take for you to get SSN? Also did you have to apply again here in US or the tick on DS-260 worked?

    Thanks

I'm having an almost identical issue.

I got the email saying the case was documentarily qualify, when I go in the documents under the applicant section say incomplete, but when I click on the incomplete I get a website error asking me to try again later, every single time from different browsers and devices. This has been going on for several days now.

Could the author or anyone else on this thread please share what ended up happening in their case regarding this issue?

    Thank you.

We had the same issue. Last Submitted documents were reviewed but did not show Accepted. There were some additional missing documents and status showed Incomplete. We received DQ in December 2019 and IL in Jan 2020 even though status was incomplete. It appears NVC do not see CEAC that you see. They have different system to review.

I've had the same issue at the NVC for months now.   Every time they want a new document or reject (a previously approved document) you go back to the end of the line and wait.   I've been stuck in the NVC since May...incredibly frustrating.

same is for my case from May, documents been accepted and they request the same document again on next review. It used to take 3 weeks to review in April, May. Now it takes 6 weeks to review. This is my 3rd submission since starting the process. yes, frustrating.

  6. I had the same issue. Spoke to NVC and was told they already have the documents. Turns out that the additional documents I had submitted was not scanned correctly. It was showing Accepted but had remark to delete and upload again. Took me 2 months to figure out. I have re uploaded the documents again as could not delete the old ones being Accepted. Will have to wait another month for them to review.

    This is ridiculous!

As I went to Indiian high commission to apply for PCC for me n my husband and they took my application and told me I will get my PCC by post within one week to one month time.

So my question is if they don't issue PCC to foreign nationals why did they accept my application and btw to my surprise they also took our British passports and sent it off with the application.

Are you applying in India or Indian high commission overseas?

    Thanks for follow up

The problem is indian consulate dont issue pcc to foreign nationals. I was in india untill 26th year of my age ,but indian consulate is not issuing pcc for past stay once you get foreign citizenship. This is very frustrating situation

In CEAC I selected not available and copy paste the the entire note as per my precious post in CEAC comments section. As we have surrendered Indian passport, we will not get PCC from India.

As per Reciprocity Schedule - India:

    Travel.States.Gov:

Comments: Police certificates are only available for Indian nationals and non-Indian nationals currently living in India. Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) nationals applying outside India.

Well I rang Indian high commission here in UK and was told that I can apply,so let's see.

    Thank you for your help.

Yes. I got the police certificate from Indian embassy in NZ but was rejected in CEAC. Please let me know how your case proceeds. Also let me know if you were able to get the PCC from India. Thanks

    Hi there

I have a question,me n my family are British citizens , originally from India , living in the UK for past 18 years, do we need Indian police clearance ?

If so how to apply it from UK?

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

If you lived in India and were over 16 at that time, they will ask for police certificate. I have same case. India will not issue PCC for non nationals. I got the police certificate from Indian embassy in New Zealand  which was rejected. I have now left a comment on CEAC that police certificate not available for non Indian nationals as per information provided on US immigration website.

Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.
