I’ve received my visa and I’m moving next month. My wife filed I-864 and her mother was the sponsor for the money with

I-864A

My wife is thinking of moving in with her Dad before I get there so therefore I will be also. Obviously all the forms etc have used her mothers address and I-864A because they are living together currently.

Will it be an issue if she moves to her Dads before I arrive and I just tell customs at the airport upon arrival of the change of address?

I got CC 19th July. NVC case status still says at NVC. Is that right? I seen somebody else’s says ready now?

Looking back on this threads tracking chart everyone seemed to get a date given around 26th even if cc was 25th. Wonder why it’s so long now...

can we book London medical before we receive our interview date?

CC 19th July. Waiting for interview date at London Embassy .

Don’t worry about that. Under my wifes name originally she uploaded all her documents, and I864A for her Mam and her Mams supporting documents as household member since she doesn’t earn enough. These were accepted and we got cc email.... We logged in and not it says her Mams name and start now, the documents it asks for were already accepted under my wifes name..... We rang up and they said don’t upload documents you have CC.. We rang twice and both said CC, first lady hopeless. Second lady said CC and not to upload anything, case resets itself when you get CC or something.  

July 19th and waiting for interview in London! 

Cc 19th July nvc, will be attending London embassy, any idea on interview timeline?

Are they expecting me to take my wifes and mother in laws uploaded documents to my interview? A bit dodgy sending these sensitive documents via mail across seas like passport, birth certificates etc

Hi, quick question. My interview will be in London and my wife is in America. She uploaded her own documents and her mams as she doesn’t earn enough so her mam is household member. 

I don’t have to take her and her mothers original documents do I? Like passport, birth certificates, tax returns etc??

I don’t think my wife and mother in laws documents like that should be sent in the post.

Hey, just a few quick questions. My wife is in America and I’m in England. Will she have to attend her own interview in the states while I attend mine in London.

Second question is if we do both attend a seperate interview do I take the original documents I uploaded and she takes the original documents she uploaded?

Seems a bit silly I would have to take all her documents like her mams birth certificate, pay stubs etc etc as her mam is a household member since she doesn’t earn enough. 

It would make sense for me to only take the documents I uploaded under my name at NVC stage.

19/07/18 Case Complete

quick question... got email saying complete and boooking interview. We just logged in to nvc and no the household sponsor has their own tab that now says start now. Both of ours say complete. The documents asked for under household sponsor are i864A and proof of domicile etc. These have all been accepted under the petitioner? 

We don’t need to upload them again do we? We got email saying all done interview being booked.

Need help with affidavit of support financial... 

My wife lives with her Mam and step dad, my wife does not earn any money so I will need to have her Mam sponsor me... My cousin also used her 3 years ago as a sponsor.

Who is classed as dependents / household size.

England. Today one person out of 3 asked for my dob, the beneficiary. The first person today said ring back option 5 next time as it’s electronic...

so have we spent 8 weeks waiting in non pivot line, they changed to pivot now we’re at the start of the pivot line?

Hi, need some help guys,

28th March case sent to nvc.

rang about 6 weeks later to see what was happening, they said they received 5th April, can take up to 8 weeks so ring back then.

rang at the 8 week point, he said oh yeah should have been done. I’ll put it to the top of the supervisors pile...

rang back today as still heard nothing and she said they received it 4th June and can take up to 8 weeks!!!! 

This is becoming beyond a joke now. What can we do?

My wife rang NVC today, He counted the weeks since they received it and it’s 8 weeks today. He said they haven’t received information and he’s sending it for supervisor review. 

what’s this mean? I’m not sure what he meant by information? I thought it all gets sent to them from USCIS and then we move forward from the case number.
