  1. Still no update other than the reply we received from our online case inquiry.

Their answer : " Our records show that your form I-484, application to register permanent residence or adjust status is currently in process. We  regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay"

My I-131 expires in February, in a quandary whether I should renew it. surely I should receive my Green card before then?

  2. Hi everyone,

I filed an inquiry via my online account citing that they were outside of the 120 days after our interview, then received an email saying that they would answer by November 25th.

Technically my case is not outside of normal processing times now as they recently changed the dates for inquiry's and today's date is May 8th 2018 and our received date is June 25th 2018.

My I-130 is shown as being approved on May 9th 2019 and then was sent to the Department of State on  May 24th 2019.

My I-131 was approved on  February 26th 2018 and will expire on February 20th 2020.

Thank you for all your advise.

It's just a waiting game I guess. Really hoping you hear back soon for sure :)

Thanks. We keep checking the status online and have even wasted our time calling and were told that tier two rep's do not know anymore about our case than the tier one reps.
We then thought if we got an infopass appointment we could at least actually talk to someone in the Vegas office so we could make sure "the file was not lost in a pile" but you can no longer make an infopass appointment.
USCIS has finally insulated itself from the very people that pay their wages, I find this insulting and a total misuse of their power.
    Sorry end of my rant.

    Hey Rick!

I seen your post yesterday and forgot to write back as I'm getting ready for a short trip back home. Out of curiosity were you:

    - Given an RFE?

    - What bona-fide evidence did you bring to interview?

    - Did they approve you on the spot with given normal review slip or just give you the review slip? (Everybody gets review slip after)

I imagine the supervisor was sitting in on the interview due to training a new member of staff who was interviewing you. I mean, I'm thinking if you were given no RFE, they seemed happy with everything (questions/answers/bona-fide evidence), no criminal history, the I-864 Affidavit is in order, medical etc...maybe your file has been accidentally left in a pile by a member of staff. There are some who have unfortunately experienced this. Knowing my bad luck it'll happen to me. It does suck if this happens as there's nothing you can do until 120 days, it's a waiting game with the hope you'll get the approval update on the USCIS site/app and GC in hand. Hope you hear back real soon!! :)

Not sure if this is helpful. I'm sorry as I haven't been fully through the interview/post-interview yet

We have not been asked for an RFE,, we provided lots of proof of our marriage, so we are still waiting. We have to go to Canada by the end of August to complete guardianship for my daughter so we hope that they do not decide to call us in for another interview when we are there.

I'm a K1 AOS Las Vegas. Our NOA1 was 11/27/18 - I doubt I'll get an interview this year! I'm thinking maybe March 2020. It just seems sooo long!! More depressing that EAD/AP is taking a little longer too

I just received my AP (travel permit) and we are going to Canada on April 4th to visit family. My guess is as soon as we do that they will schedule our interview !

The delay is so crazy!!! I’m hoping we hear something soon! I wish there were more people from Vegas here that update their timeline so that it gives us a better idea!!

I suppose that when you get your interview we will have to wait another SIX months!
Can't believe we actually pay for this service!

Sorry to hear that Rick. USCIS have the right  to waive the Green Card interview if they feel its not needed. They only got this power recently.

However are you the US citizen or is your wife? as if your wife is they you can definitely expedite the process on the basis of what has happened even if shes not a US citizen and you are you can claim still on the basis you suffered serve financial hardship

Hi Gama, My wife is the US citizen, She is semi retired and worked when she could before the heart attack, I am retired but will most likely have to work when I am allowed to to at least pay the very large insurance deductible so we could possibly ask for our case to be expedited. Thanks we had not thought of that. We will investigate to see how we can do this.

  8. Hi Everyone, Has any one received their Green card without having an interview? I hear it is possible. Our priority date is May 29th 2018 and we are in Las Vegas. Our case was is ready to schedule for an interview as of December 6th 2018 and we have not heard from USCIS since that date. I did call last week and all they could tell me was that it was still at the National Benefits Center.
Hope we hear from them soon as my wife just suffered a heart attack and had a triple bypass on January 5th, she is recovering well but the stress is not helping.

TIA for any advice or feedback.
