Thanks for the advice, it’s a big help.
I got an appointment for N400 interview in two weeks. I called the service hotline but was told it will only be for N400 if the letter doesn’t say i751 too. Good that I checked visa journey too. I was about to go alone because the interview is at 0645, so I ask my husband to stay home and take the kids to school instead of coming with me.
so guess the whole family is going just in case it’s a combo like yours, just let the kids be late to school.
I just had my interview. It turned out to be a combo interview! Can’t trust the service center. The first part was on I-751, when we met, how we met, when was the first date, what we did on first date, who proposed, how was it done. Where and when did we married. She asked all the information on the application again and checked them. So review your application. Then asked for documents with both our names.
Then the N400, read a line and write a sentence. I was asked six or seven questions. Who’s the Vice President, who’s your senate, What’s one obligation for citizens only, ocean boarder the east side, what is rule of law, why there are 50 stars, forgot the last question. Then she said congratulations.I was told there is a ceremony in late February, and I will get the letter in 2 weeks. And she told me I won’t get my 10 year green card, she gave me a piece of paper that I need to bring with my green card to the ceremony.
My long wait is finally close to the end. Best of luck to those who are still waiting.

Yes it does. Thank you for your help.
Did they focus more on the N400 or I-751?.I got an interview letter for N-400 only.
When is your interview? Mine is on Jan 28. Could you share after your interview if you have a combo or just N400?
TIA

No. The letter was for N400 interview . Since we have the pending status on GC condition removal so it was combo.
Plus Officer mentioned in the beginning of the interview. I think in most cases like ours it is always combo and letter will not say it.
But if you have scenario like ours then highly recommend to have your Spouse with you.
Hope this helps.

My transfer was in March, from Vermont to Texas. Do you think an interview is the next or not?
I wish I could answer that question with confidence. I’m in the same boat with you, still waiting for someone to tell me what’s gonna happen next.
To answer your question, it’s a maybe. From looking at other people’s journeys here, we’re waiting for possible RFE/transfer center/biometric(if not done)/straight to interview. I hope I’m going straight to interview. Hope that answer your question.

I’m from April 2018...is somebody waiting too??
April filer here, also waiting patiently with you. Just got transferred to the NBC from CSC in September. No news ever since. Will need to get my info pass stamp next month if no more news.
stay strong you are not alone! -
April filer of CSC, just did fingerprints on 3/15/19. Today got an email notice fingerprints review complete. This is faster than I expected. Seen someone just posted here that received the approval in less than a month after fingerprints completed at CSC. My fingers crossed that I will have the same time frame.

@Leef that’s good news! Can you please share your first 6 digits after WAC?
WAC181985xxx is the case being cancelled. Was sent in May 2018
My active case is WAC181785xxx which was sent in April

I received a letter from USCIC, was hoping it’s the bio metric letter. But it’s a refund for my second application. I didn’t call them to ask for refund. I checked online, now instead of two active cases, now it’s just one case. Less confusion. So for those who submitted a second application, you should get a refund.
And I guess this also means that they are starting to touch our applications, otherwise I wouldn’t have got a refund, right? At least I just glad that things are starting to move. And I have an extra $680 to spend;)

I-751 sent on 4/9
CSC received on 4/10
check cashed today
waiting for NOA
I’m feeling a bit dumb now because I listened to the tier 2 officer’s instruction and mailed my packet again two weeks ago (I didn’t come across this forum at that time) Hopefully my actions won’t cause too much confusion or delay. On the cover letter I did put down I’m sending packet again as instructed by a immigration officer. I even put down the date I sent the first packet. I hope they won’t cash my check again.
NOA received today! Now just need to sit back and wait for biometric appointment.

I filed in CSC Apr 2018, transferred to NBC in September 2019. I was approved on the spot. Having my young kids with me sped up the interview a bit. In and out about 30 minutes.
I think it’s up to the officer’s discretion.
