Yes, my husband lived in Paris, as well, and the embassy called the next day to tell him he could come pick up his visa and passport before they closed that day. Our case was expedited, but someone who did theirs in Paris with no expedition only took 3 days to get their passport. Their interview was on a Wednesday, the got their visa status of issued on Thursday, and their passport with visa on Friday. I don't know why it's taking so long. Maybe contact the embassy in Paris and see what is going on. Sorry yours is taking so long. Contact the embassy is my suggestion.
finally I got my visa package!! 2 weeks!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting. I had my interview at Auckland Consulate on the 20th of September for my spousal permanent residence visa, and I have still not received my passport back. I emailed asking when I might expect it back as the consular officer that interviewed me and said it was approved, said it would take up to two weeks. ( it is now heading into the 4th week). The email reply I received is I will receive it when they have finished adjudicating and processing it. Does anyone know what this means? And what time frame have others waited to receive their passport(&visa) back after their interview?
I am just continuosly checking the tracking of my courier bag to see if anything has been ipdated and its quite frustrating as Im now in limbo.
Thanks in advance.
i had my interview on oct 3rd in Paris, my visa has been issued since oct 5th, but no news for my passport return yet.

That is a little abnormal, and so sorry you have to wait like that. My hubby got his passport the same time and along with his visa. I've only seen others, from France, who have gotten theirs a day or two after. A week seems longer than neccessary to me. Did you contact anyone? Sorry, once again.
thanks. can i ask when did your husband get notification of shipping number and when did he get his passport back? I email the document service and they told me nothing to do but wait. my visa status was changed to "issued" two days after interview and it's been a week. is it the courrier UPS or LA POSTE? I live in Paris, it shouldn't take so long to get my passport back.

are there any applicants from France who have already had interview? I have my visa issued for a week and I haven't received my passport back yet , no shipping number either. is it normal?

Take a look at the link and also the below for Paris:
https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-employment-immigration/
If issued, the Embassy will ship the visa and documents to you in approximately 7-10 business days. For residents of France shipment will be via TNT. Portugal/Azores residents must provide a Chronopost envelope, 2 Kg format 25x36cm for Union Europeen international delivery. Chronopost envelopes are only available from the French post office La Poste. Visas are not available for pickup on the day of the interview
ok thank you . that's what i did yesterday.

Congratulations on your interview date. Registration with the case been received or not has no effect on courier service registration. Don't be confused
now I'm confused :p what is courier service registration? I'm in Paris, and I didn't find any information about this courier service registration in my interview guide.
