My ex abuser husband did same to me . I had attorney for divorce but my attorney did not works very good , so I gave up half of alimony he should to pay me and got agreement to signed divorce decrees. I did not went to the hiring , I can not take the outcome as he said on the divorce decrees . 

I recommend you find a attorney to help you with divorce case . you can have some help from legal aid .

  Good evening. 

  I need your help with I912, fee waiver request if any one would like to guild me . 

 I applied 765 (c09) for my children and my self , also my children's 485,sent them with my I-360, i-485 ,I-765(c31) receipts a month ago. But I got rejection of it yesterday. 

it said my I-912 were denied .

   I did applied I912 with my I360, I485 before and it was approved and my VAWA 360 , and i485, I765 (c31) were got fee waived . I thought it would be works with this I-765(c09), So , I did not summit i912 again. 

My questions are :

  1. What they need from me on this G-1054? I can not read 2b what they said . sorry about my pool english that can not read the curl hand written.  

2. Do I need to file new forms( I-765, I-485)?  with I-912? Or I need  send the forms uscis returned  to me ? it was marked on "DENIED" , and received stamp. 

3. Do I ask Uscis close my I765(c31 ) or just leave it open when I reapply new I765 (C09)?

She submitted  the I 130 and i 864 and she is the one who did everything so how she is mental illness?  And her mother is my sponsor  too . And all her family  were aware  of the marriage and she traveling  to get married with me .

I just want to know what is gonna happen if she win the annulment? Is it possible  I  Roc even after the annulment  on mental illness?  I have proof  of good faith marriage. Joint bank accounting..  life insurance.  lease...

Anyone  have Experience with ROC after annulment?

   So I ended contract with her and sent all applications at once by my self , but I did not wrote letter to USCIS and ask USCIS to take off her information from my cases  yet.  

   Does USCIS will reject my cases because I did not sent letter to tell them I don't have  attorney any more ?

   Any one here have example with the letter to end contract with attorney? Share with me please.

Then I just left the country and now I don't know, what to do, because my husband doesn't talk to me and blocked me everywhere. I read he would have to withdraw the petition before it will be denied and I would have even more problem to visit US again.

 

I would like to ask, if I can just withdraw my form I-485? I heard, if the petition will be denied, so I will have a problem to get a visa in the future after all that my experience. And also how I will get the final divorce papers, if he doesn't talk to me at all and I'm not in the US anymore? Because in the future I will definitely need them. And want to ask, if I ever will be able to visit US again? I know I will have to apply for other visa than ESTA, but if there's a chance I will be able to go there  again? And also how long is the divorce gonna take, if I didnt sign the divorce papers and I'm not in US anymore?

 

I would appreciate any answer, because I have no idea, what to do now and don't have money for a lawyer right now. And I think I have to do something immediately, so I'm not gonna get into more trouble.

Again nothing definitive, but box 1.d. seems closest. You can clarify using Part 6: fill as Page 2, Part 2, Item 1.d. and "I am filing for adjustment of status as an immediate relative (child) of a VAWA self-petitioner, eligible under INA Sec. 245(a)."

 

You have probably already read this link and section "What to Submit (Derivative Applicants)" under "Family Members." Maybe @sandranj can provide some definitive info.

 I need some help with how to fill the I-485 and I864W based on my VAWA case for my children .  

 My abusive ex-husband was a U.S citizen. My attorney helped me to filed VAWA  in the July 2018 . but there are so many mistakes she made on my i360 and i 485 , i 765.  

Question 1 . can I send USCIS the corrected part of the Form i360 and i485 ?

       for example .my attorney  did chosen the wrong answers on form i360, page number 4, part 4, item 7;  page number 14, part 10, item 9, and time 11 etc. can i corrected these questions and only send corrected page of I36O , and i485 ( a lot of questions she answered wrong , also some  informations of  my children and me were missed , I gave her  all documents and tole her the right answers.) how to fix these mistakes that she made on my forms?  

   I am going to apply new I-765 with category C9 , and ask close the one she applied for me with category c31. 

Question 2. what application type of filing category that my children need to choose on their I485? My i360,i485  are pending now. Am i eligible apply my children at same time with me? they are 15 and 10 , they are living with me in the USA.

   My psychologist told me the emotional about is the worst but a lot people don't realized it  . 

   My opion is looking for a good attorney as Sandranj also looking for a good psychologist or therapy .

If you submitted your AOS you still can file l824 for your daughter but in both cases USCIS will take action in her case just AFTER  your green card is approved.”

 

3. Divorce doesn’t affect VAWA at all. 

 

4. Yes, you need the appointment letter to take to the biometrics appointment as proof that you got invited to have the biometrics done. Otherwise anybody can just walk in. Just ask your attorney to send you the original. You pay her/him, they work for you, so just be firm.

     2 does it will delay my case if I remove attorney from my VAWA case?  how to take her off from my case ? how to change mailing address to my address ? 

         my attorney is very not good. she hold all my documents for over 5 months since i gave to her  but did not sent them out , aftetr i asked her so many times , she finally sent them out with missed a lots of document i gave her in July.  she does not let me to apply EAD card by the C9 with my I485 together but choosen the C31 only.   also she only put her address on the forms , i did asked her to put my mailling address together so i can recive the copy form uscis too but she did not. 

    when I emalied her so many times to apply EAD under C9 but always no answer to me , so I   asked her in person  to apply EAD with C9 last week. but she said she already changed , it is auto changed to C9 from C31, so I do not need to apply it just need to wait uscis send to me ! i was belived her and came back to home , but think that is not right . how it can be auto changed without my sign and did not closed the I765 she applied for me with C31?

     1. How to apply EAD card by myself ?  My attorney summited my case in July . But she chosen the c31 on my I-765, she said I can not choose c9 . 

    Do I need to write a letter to Vermont center to ask them withdraw I-765 the one my attorney filed ? Or I just send a new I-765 with fees ? Can I have fed waiver on it ?

    I need EAD card to work . I have no income .and my children and i don’t have insurance. I need go to work .

VAWA case?    It is no fault divorce in my state where I live . My divorce attorney said it would not put my soon to be ex husband abused me in the divorce paper .

   Good evening! 

    I have questions if anyone of you can answer me . I am worrying a lot now. 

 My attorney said she sent my VAWA case on 15 th June .but I did not got any receipt of it until now . I asked her about tracking number so I can check if it was delivered. She only emailed me about my case was delivered on 9 th July . 

    I asked her about copies she sent to Immigration office . She gave me the copies but there missed a lots of documents that I gave her .i asked her why she did not sent other documents together? Do these documents would not help my case ? She said she sent all documents but only gave me a part of them . I read the cover letter that she wrote but there really does not included my other police report/ medical records and inquiry pics  some letters from my friends to support my case etc.

  is these possible the attorney does not give all of the copies that she sent to Immigration office? 

    My other questions are 

   How long does it take to get receipt after filed VAWA ?  

   Does it took almost a month to got delivered ? 

   Why I am worrying my attorney does not sent my case out so bad ? Because I gave her all my documents to file VAWA over 4 months she did nothing . I keep asked her when she can file it so she keep told me “next Friday . “ for over a month  !

  Finally she said sent my case out but I get none receipt notice until now . It has been over a month already  . (From 15 June /18 to now )

   I heard about new policy of effective to immigrants on 28 th June. I am worrying about if she did not sent my case out yet it will really mess up my life . 

    What I can do now ? I can’t sleep every night !

try because I moved out from his home already two months , before I moved out of there , I went to office changed my address and asked them to forward my mails

,they said only do two weeks forward mails . I will go to ask if they can do it a little bit more . 

   Do I have other way to have letter from immigration court ? I did sent ar-11 and called uscis to change it to my new address. But they did not update it yet . Now already denied all case . 

   Is there other way I can go to Immigration court to check my letter or what I can do ? 

   I real need good immigration attorney who is good at VAWA case and knows immigration laws as well.

Hi every one ！

   I need you guys help with my VAWA case . 

   I had a attorney who from legal aid , I gave her all my documents in Feb 18 , when my USC husband physically abused me and sex assault me , emotionally and economic abused me since we marred after a month in 2017 . I called police twice and he was in charged .i have police report s and  psychologist ‘s notes and assessment and treatment plans . Also some pics of injures . 

    We are entered marriage in good faith . 

   My husband did applied i130 and did sponsored i864 for both my children and me . I filed AOS based on his sponsorship. 

   We are divorcing now . 

    But my attorney is not good at immigration law . She does not agrees to send my I-360 and I -485, I -765 , also she said I can not  file I-485, I -765 for my children at the time . My children are living with me at USA now and they are very young.

    She said I only can file I -360 and I-765 choose c31 for EAD . 

   At that time my children and my AOS were pending . 

She just wasted my 4months time and messed up my case . I got notice that USCIS denied my AOS I -485s that my husband did sponsored for my children and me , also revoked my EAD card . Deined my I-130s they my husband applied for me and my children. 

    I faird my attorney because I feel like she wasted  my time and messed up my case . I gave her my documents in Feb but even now she does not has good plan how to organize my case and just want to send I-360 for myself . But never send my case out only said I will be done it next week ! 

    I forward the notices from USCIS I got today to her and she said that is good . So she can purpose to file my VAWA . 

   I am looking for other attorney but since I am in the hospital give my baby birth , I don’t have time to find good one in short time . So I am thinking to send my case by my self . 

    Anyone of you please help me , what I can do ?
