Really???? The government was trying to extradite a OFW in Taiwan because she spoke out against the Duterte government.

That doesn't take in to effect that they have been prioritizing POGOs over the regular Filipino citizen

Funny. Making a comparison, and that is not a government; it's an administration😂 I don't like them either! FYI they cannot harm the OFW for making that video it's her freedom of speech. That's why the Taiwan government stood up. Because they know she has her rights. They are just making another issue to cover up and to turn the attention of the public out of their incompetence! Do you know how many people criticize him since he took the presidential position? How many rallies has been made? Did you hear in the news that everyone who criticize him has been charged and jailed? No one, right? They are just making that.

And for that POGO thing, did you know how corrupt everyone in the government? Maybe their pockets are out of money now😂

So was I,  and if they decide its for the betterment of the country, then they will do what they need to do.  Your premise in your other post was that the government can't do it (which they can) and that it was up to the airlines to decide (which it is but ONLY if the skies and airports are operating).

If they want to operate specific flights to the Middle East or other region similar to the repatriation flights but in reverse, they could do that as well.

But my question is, do you think the government will do it for the entire year?

I am saying they will not and cannot do it because a lot of things should be put into consideration first. They can only restrict people going outside the country, if the purpose is just for a vacation. We are talking for the entire year here, not just for a couple of weeks.

  3. I am referring to the photo posted above. I mean the government cannot shut down the airport for the whole 2020 and will open only for the next year for foreign travel? People aren't just going outside the country for leisure. Many people will complaint of course, millions of Filipinos are working outside the country so they cannot do that for the entire year.

Well this is a bit disturbing.  My fiancee sent this to me.  Not sure how reputable the source is, but I don't believe Duterte wants his big money-maker to go down the tubes.

My understanding is, this is solely for vacation/leisure purposes outside of the country. Philippines government cannot shut down the airport entirely; it is up to each airline if they will suspend or continue their flights.

That attorney is incorrect as the EO is clear: if you have an immigrant visa that was issued before the effective date of the proclamation you can use it to enter the US.

That is what we are saying/commenting on his live video. What is the purpose then that states on section 2 a, that we have a valid immigrant visa but we cannot enter because we are not mentioned under the section 2 B of the Executive Order.

He said that if we aren't mention in section 2 B clearly states, we cannot enter even if we have a valid immigrant visa.

All along I thought the section 2 B are for people who will continue to process their interview and to received/issue a visa by the US consulate within the next 60 days, those people are the only entitled to get a visa and enter without any delay aside from the closure of the US consulate/embassy outside of US.

He also said in his post, just relax for now because if we try to enter, we might send back home or airport to airport.

  6. Hello everyone!

I just want to ask, if there are people here with a valid immigrant visa (attached on your passport) who is a LPR spouse or child or other category but not mention on section 2 (b) of EO, intending to leave to US this week or for the prior weeks? Can you guys please update us if you would be able to enter at the POE?

Few hours ago I watched a live video of a certain attorney and he said that even if we have a valid immigrant visa we cannot able to enter the US because our petitioner is LPR.

PS: I attached a photo from travel state website (NVC) states that "no valid visa will be revoked under this Proclamation"

But I don't know I am bothered and stressed what the lawyer just said, because my visa is just until August🤦‍♀️
