I did my Interview on Weds March 6 for my K1 Visa and got Approved with my 2, k2s! I checked CEAC yesterday and it was in  AP, today it was changed to ISSUED for all three of our Visas! Now just to wait for the tracking # ! Is anyone has gotten this far, has it been through email, or on the usvisa-info.com site? I have been checking both

Also if anyone has questions about K2's , I'd love to help! I know throughout this process that was the hardest part because the lack of info available !

I just did a Medical for my K1 at Dr Cheemas 3 weeks ago, along with my 2-k2 applicants! I for sure needed 5. Each applicant and they asked for all 5. Also we did not have our flu shots and they gave them to us there. The appointment was a breeze. 

Only suggestion I have with k2, is do shots before the medical because that was a headache in itself !! Lol 

but i just finished my interview and got approved so if you have any questions let me know !

The interviewer told her that she was approved and expect the passport to be returned in less than 2 weeks. This morning we got an email that the K1 visa has been issued along with the Canada post tracking number 😁

This is great feedback!! I am really praying ours comes through that fast as we are trying to get to USA about 2 weeks after our interview!

Going to suck big time if they expect his passport from 10 years ago, because it definitely doesn't exist anymore. 🤣

I will for sure keep you updated and that does make me feel a little better lol ! I only have my old one because I literaly just applied for my new one 3 months ago as my expiry was coming up on the old one. I kept some of the kids more for the cute old pics on them. I feel confident it shouldnt be a huge deal but I do know its sometimes case by case.

Updating my case for anyone in this process PLUS a question! 

I travelled to Surrey last week to do our medical (Myself and K2) The Medical was extremely straight forward and easy. My K2 (son) was on antibiotics for tonsils and that was no problem at all, just brought along dr note and List of medicine from Pharmacy. Dr. Cheema was so nice and his staff at the front desk really make this process easy, answered alot of questions and were very friendly. 

I recieved my medical back two business days later by curious (the weekend was in between).

Next step in Montreal in 1 week. 

QUESTION!!!

I noticed on the email and Packet 4 when you book the interview it states to bring in ALL PASSPORTS even old ones. This is the first time I have seen it mentioned anywhere but seems like it is very important. 
I have Current Passport and 1 prior for myself and K2, However I do not know where the older ones before that are, and the last recent one for my 2nd K2. In ya'll opinion is this essential?? Just a note *We all have our current up to date passports with at least 3-5 years left before it expires****

Thanks !!! Yeah i bought though westjet and got the extra insurance just in case but my fiancé is supposed to fly down to help me move so hope the timing works out ! You never know with Montreal, i feel like it’s so case by case. 

Ahhh!!! I wonder why the AP takes so long for some and not for others? did the mention any RFE at the interview ??

i have my interview March 6 and hope to fly to USA March 23! I really pray there is enough time between those dates to get my visa !!! If not I got flight insurance but still !!! 

Hey everyone !!!

so excited as we finally got our p4 and booked our interview for March 6!! I have two k2 applications with my K1 but so far it hasn’t slowed anything down and I have all the proper papers as far as custody etc ready! 

Question is ... We have tentatively booked our flights to USA with fiance for March 23, and I paid extra for courier ! I thought it would be enough time but I hear Montreal is extra slow these days !! Anyone think it will take more than 2.5 weeks to get the Visa back? I heard average was one week in the past ! 

HELP! We recieved our NOA2 Nov 5/18 , got sent to Montreal (Canada) Embassy quite fast, and now its been over a month and still no Packet 3. Have tried to email them the packet 2x already, and emailed asking they simply stated not ready yet and do not send anything yet. 

I am wondering if anyone else is close to this timeline. My biggest worry is my NOA2 has an expiry of March 5, 2018 which is coming up.
