YES!! We saw the same for my husbands today too! Thank GOD!
Congrats!!! So now we just wait for the courier to collect it? I'm hoping tomorrow they'll pick them up, but honestly who knows how their courier system works. Praying we get visas in hand this week!

Congrats!
My husband was approved on September 11th but his medical wasn't until September 14th. Mater just finished processing his medical last week Friday so we are still waiting for his visa. I am so annoyed at this stage in the process with how slow they are.
I'm so sorry you're still waiting on the medical--I have no idea why the embassy insists on being so slow when 1) they process so many fewer visas that others and 2) other people get visas turned around in days! Praying you get the visa soon and can move on with the process!

Ah, can't believe how quickly some are getting their visas issued, congrats! 14 days and counting down... 🙄

Husband had his interview in Dublin today, approved!!! But of course there was a mistake on the medical (no expiration date) even though we triple reminded them and already had Mater hospital fix another mistake they made on the medical---just a warning to others, Mater seems sloppy (yes, they're very busy), but even the consular officer told my husband "yes, they seem to leave the date off a lot." Apparently the embassy will sort this with the hospital and it should only take a day to fix... So we've to wait these final 15 business days. Just ready to be *done*
Husband was second one in the embassy, first one interviewed (8am appt.). He was out of the embassy by 8:30! Said the officer was a very nice lady, asked only basic questions about how we met, my employment, our time together. He said she looked at our pictures but not much else. She seemed very confused by a few things on my husband's case, but apparently nothing critical, as he got the approval sheet!! We both hardly slept the night before and are so relieved now.
Best of luck to all of you waiting for CC and interview. I know the feeling, like the process will never end, but your time will come!

My case was completed today . Now I am just waiting for an interview date at the embassy in Jordan. What is the next step? Or is just simply a waiting game.. thanks a bunch
Congrats! It's a waiting game--NVC will coordinate with your embassy to schedule your interview. In the meantime, you can prep your documents. Hope you hear something quickly!

I'm not sure. I can ask my husband. He didn't give me any details about the medical results
Mater said they should be able to fix their mistake. Are you still waiting for the visa at this point?

Can someone please tell me what to do, I went and had my fingerprints taken 09-12-2018 and went under the privacy act, however when i received my mail from them (today) its just a piece of paper saying
"your application for personal information held in the databank ******** has been processed. No personal information about you was found in the datebank"
also states that my fingerprints used have been destroyed. I'm almost positive this isn't the correct document.
I would post this question here:
and see if others have had a similar experience

Neither which is what I'm worried about. It still just says "Ready"
So my spouse just received an email from the embassy and it says to allow 15 business days for the visa to be issued... What a headache. Hoping you get an updated status soon!!

@SMOM @girlonfire Sorry for yet more questions, but did you have any issues with your medical from Mater? Or hiccups with it during the interview?
We found one mistake with ours, not sure how to proceed. On the copy of the vaccination record, they checked the "K Visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccination requirements" NOT "Immigrant Visa or Parolee...."
Spouse will have to ring the hospital tomorrow and see if they can correct this, but idk how they will when the sealed envelope they gave us contains the original record. Also, we have no way of knowing if there is indeed an expiration date on the medical results, since they're sealed. Curious about that only because a previous user said he got AP for not having an expiration date on his medical.

Shocking to hear honestly! Irish people are so nice I’ve got a couple friends and your accent is funny and cute hehe ! When did u have your interview? 2 weeks isn’t that bad either. I’ve got my passport back after only 2 days here in Bogota but met someone who didn’t get it back for a month! 2 weeks will give you time to pack your stuff nice and smoothly and say goodbye to friends and family, I have my husband here rushing me because he bought me a flight so fast without telling me !
I know, it's just people at the embassy apparently getting a hard time. Ah, my spouse is the Irish citizen, interview is on Oct 2, just 11 days to go! We honestly don't need the two weeks haha, ready to book a flight as soon as passport is in hand.
That's so funny, hopefully you can get everything in order before you leave, tomorrow isn't it? Have a safe flight & welcome to the US!

May I ask how come Dublin isn’t that fast? I always thought countries in europe would be efficient and fast in every stage.. indeed though, it looks like everyone is getting to the finish line
Honestly, I wish I knew the answer! Compared to London (not "European", but another major city), Dublin processes far fewer cases, scheduling takes longer, and reviews aren't great. The Dublin embassy is somewhat small, and recently developed a reputation for rude officers. Some blame it on Dublin not having a US ambassador (though someone just got selected by the Trump admin), but from what I can tell, things just move slowly. I know another Dublin user said she's been waiting 1 week+ and her visa hasn't been issued yet, and from older timelines it seems like it can take up to 2 weeks.

Visa in hand. I actually tracked my passport arriving to my city and went to DHL right away. I did not receive an email about it until 40 minutes after. If I waited for the email I wouldn’t have made it on time and had to go the next day. @amdublin14 it still shows Issued on ceac.
Thanks for that update. So excited for you, congrats on getting it so quickly!!! I know Dublin won't be as fast, but happy all of us are having things move along.

My EMBASSY is in Dublin Ireland .here is the thing I filled out at my local garda station the form to be sent off to get my police cert I wrote a letter explaining why I need it .the garda rang me back saying they can not proceed with my police cert unless I have a letter from the embassy explaining why I need it this is really really hoilding me up and yes I am getting frustrated with this HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A LETTER OR EMAIL DO EMAIL MY EMBASSY REQUEST THIS INFORMATION ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP ME THIS IS SUCH A SLOW PROCESS JUST TO GET A POLICE RECORD THANKS PEOPLE
Fairly sure my spouse submitted a copy of the page on the NVC website where it says it's a required document. Could provide that along with anything from the embassy/related to your case that shows you have an active visa case.
-
Had no issues with spouse visiting the US while our I-130 was processing. Not sure why your having lived in Ireland would be an issue, assuming you are there and working legally. Most likely your interview would be through Dublin since that's your country of residence.

When your passport is ready for pick up/with the courier service, does it say "issued" or "ready"?

My CEAC status still says "Ready". I had my interview last Tuesday so exactly a week ago and they approved and didn't need anymore documents or anything. Should I be concerned/contacting anyone about not hearing an update on my passport being given to the courier service?
Hmm, I don't know, I'm not sure what's typical for Dublin--they seem pretty slow with everything, from what I can tell. If they said at the interview that they didn't need anything, then I suppose it's just a matter of waiting. You could try calling the embassy, I've had no luck getting them to respond to an email in the past. Again, congrats, hope you hear about the passport soon!!!

Yeah I think once it says "Ready" as your status then you should be able to register
We were able to register! Any estimates on how long it it takes to get the visa after approval?
-
22 minutes ago, SMOM said:
No I registered mine fine, are you having an issue with registering?
Yes, it was saying no appointment exists when we try to register? We just got the interview email on Friday, and our case status still says "in transit." We're thinking maybe we need to wait a few more days? Also, have you received your visa back yet? Congrats again on your approval
-
@SMOM @girlonfire Did you/your spouses have any difficulty registering your interview on ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ie/iv? TIA!
-
Called NVC again, very unhelpful rep, said they only schedule interviews at the end of the month (surely not true) and that they don't give information about embassies. Said they'd send our case to a supervisor because of our two resubmitted documents that have not yet been reviewed (submitted 8/13), and told to allow up to 6 weeks for review. Somehow we are both documentarily qualified/CC/in line for an interview, and yet waiting to have documents reviewed. Thoroughly fed up.
