Davidg74 got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in Case Status not available till date
Hi well I have my share of shady lawyers. That's y I am in this position. One option is if he is in the US and has some legal statues where immigration will not take him make an appointment with the nearest UCIS office to see an officer to inquire. The other option is call the customer care number. The last and final option which I had to at times was tell the lawyer u want to see ur file u have a right to see ur file if there are no current documents showing work done u can tell him that u will report him.

Davidg74 got a reaction from Rachellenativ in Why is my I601 waiver taking longer to take process?
Hi I have i601 filed as well Jan 2017. It's been 16 months since they have it. With the new system they no longer give u updates like what month year they working on. Now it's averaged month which for mine is 14 to 18 months with date of inquiry Dec 2016. So as far I can tell I'm in the range of the processing time but they don't give u what month or year. From what I read I do not have to restart the process just wait to be approved and finish my interview at the embassy. I've been away from my wife and kids for 8 years now.

Davidg74 got a reaction from JackCasillas in Need to hear good new from any body
Hi Jack I'm in the same boat. I had a conviction 28 years ago and it was my only crime. I filed my i601 and i212 Jan 2017 I'm on 16 months I've been Seperated from wife and 4 kids 8 years now. Worst thing is the wait. So this is what I can tell u. Yes u been denied but the fact they gave a chance to file a waiver means ur have a chance. Other wise they would have said u don't have any options. As long as u can prove extream hardship on ur family and prove that living in ur country with ur family isn't productive to ur wife and kids u stand a chance. So just hang tough I know how u feel.
