Does anyone know where they r at with the 601a? Site says December so just curious if anyone knows if that’s right or are they farther along

My attorney advise me to get it, but on the paperwork says you must be at least 16 yrs old before coming to the US so I didn't get it. Also I consulted a couple other attorneys about the subject and the told me I didn't need it because I migrated when I was 11 yrs.

Ok thank u my husband was 19 when he came so I guess we should start working on getting that. So next question is do u know how we get it?

IM sorry I just realized how that was put. I don’t have our interview yet we just sent in our 601a last month. I’m trying to have everything ready for nvc stage and I’m not sure about that part. I’m hoping to be getting our interview date beginning of next year .  

My husband is from Mexico and we will be having our interview in Juarez. R we able to get the police certificate when we r in Mexico or will we have to get it sent here to USA? 

601a filled on 7-18-2018 how long till I get a receipt? Since my 130 was at Potomac service center then should my 601a be there to?

Hi there !

to find out if nvc received your case you just call and ask they will tell you. But they might not have a case number for you right away.

I was approved April 9, 2018 case sent to nvc April 18, 2018 received April 25, 2018. Still no case number called to make sure they got it but was told to wait 8 weeks after they received it before I would get a case number

1. who is from the Potomac Service Center?

2. Anyone send in their 601a?

3. If so where did it go and about how long will it take?

4. I see on the USCIS site that they r working on 691a’s as of November 29, 2017. Does this go off of priority date?  

My lawyers assistant says we have about 5-9 months to go ! I’m hoping it goes by really fast!

quick question.. I saw someone state that Iv fees were supposed to be paid before we send in our 601a? Is this true ? Could this be y my lawyer is not in a rush because we don’t have our case number at nvc yet. We have absolutely everything needed for 601a just needs signed. 

Also anyone know what is needed for the nvc it’s self?

I would like to add that I called to find out the date they received my case I have not gotten any mail or emails from nvc.

😂 yea it’s gonna be a long trip and we have 3 kids lol ages 1,3,8. Soooo it’s going to be a fun flight. We r excited to go his family has never met any of the kids so it’s going to be emotional to. U r going to have a nice short trip lol

I’m in Ohio our i130 was sent to Potomac Service Center . So here’s another question lol on the USCIS website wait time says 3-6 months and has inquiry date as November 15,2017. My pd date is October 5, 2017. So would it be processed soon?

Really all this is necessary cuz of a typo...... it wasn’t meant to be rubbed in ur face it was a typo everyone makes mistakes..... cuz I simply said I had mine so u should check in to urs ......

Sorry it was a typo I just corrected it. Pd date is October 5, 2017. Received noa2 4-9-2018 from the Potomac Service Center. Awaiting to file i601a. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
