  1. My child 12 years old living outside of US is coming to visit me for about 30 days in US. (I am US citizen)

I want to apply to his citizenship at the same time that he is here visiting me, but he will not live here at this moment.

Should I have one I-130 and another I-845?

Should I apply in advance or wait him to be here in US?

Another question :) as I understand he will be automatically considered citizen and not a GC right?

I wish I could do all the paperwork here in US as the embassy is far away from where he lives in.

I'm pretty big into personal development and self-directed learning, and I dislike paying for things when I can get them for free.

I've always wanted to try LinkedIn Learning, but I never wanted to pay for it. It usually costs USD 20-30 / month, depending on the plan you choose, but you can get it for free if you have a library card from your local public library. Depending on where you live in the US, it's also free to apply for a library card, and you can often do it online. Note: I don't get any compensation for the link, I just found it very useful and wanted to share. Immigrating is expensive enough as it is, and immigrants already have a tough enough time breaking into US white collar jobs.

This is very useful for anyone who wants to upskill while waiting for their GC/EAD. You can also raise your visibility to recruiters on LinkedIn if you complete industry-specific courses.

Hope this helps someone out there in limbo while waiting for their work permits to come through!

so with the library card I am supposed to complete the trainings at the library?

If possible from home what should be the credentials to use?

  3. Hello all.

I will complete my 5 years GC on May 2019. But already preparing all the paper work.

Well. I was married in Brazil from 2008 to 2009 and have a boy that still lives in Brazil with his mother.
I also have a daughter that is 18 years old and lives here in US with me.
She came to US 5 months later than me (october 2014).

so does she must wait till oct 2019 to apply right?

I got married here in US in 2017 with a Brazilian woman that is out of status (tourist visa).

So as I said I start filling out the N400 and I have some questions:
    * part 10 - 7C - Current spouse's Immigration Status:

There are 2 options: LPR and Other (explain)

    * part 10 - 3 - How many times have you been married?
This must count my current marriage?

    * part 10 - 8 - How many time your current spouse have been married?
This must count the current marriage?

    * part 10 - 9B - My Prior spouse's immigration status when your marriage ended.
My previous spouse never asked for immigration.

I am not sure if I should have a lawyer to fill this form out.

This is not a complicated process and I really don't want to spend money in this.

We are saving the money to my wife's application once I get my citizenship.

Any suggestion will be great appreciated.

  4. My question is What happens if there is more petitions than the 60k annually offered?

I saw that the timeframe for application is from April 1st to April 7th.

Does this mean that I need to run and apply on april 1st?

Also I read that trump will just suspend premium processing. Or is there any other law or suspension that may affect H1B visas?

you are not allowed to get them.

ligue para o consultorio e verifique.

  7. Oi!

Alguém fez o exame médico com o dr. Aurélio Garrido no Rio?

Qualquer outra dúvida me avise ou me mande em pvt (private)

    Thank you Aaron2020,

Did you pass through the same issue?

Also, for your child to be eligible for following-to-join benefits, he or she must:

    ball.gif Be unmarried and

ball.gif Be under 21 years of age and

ball.gif Have been a child from a marriage of yours (the marriage must have existed at the time of your admission to the U.S.) or
