Our case is exactly the same. We were approved by NVC on January 13, still waiting for the US embasy in Mumbai to open. This is the hardest process I have ever been through. Now, I cannot fly there and we haven't been together in person since December 2018. I was waiting to fly there for the interview. I don't believe that will happen now because of Covid. It's not thinkable to keep a husband and wife apart for this long. We video chat every day, but really it is not enough. I need my husband!!!
