Yes!! My husband was in the US for 17yrs, had his I601a approved before going to Cuidad Juarez. Once in Juarez he got an Inadmissibility and due to that his I601a was revoked. That is why we now needed a I601 to over come that 10yrs ban he got for the Inadmissibility. Hopefully I explained myself good.
Wait so beside unlawful presence was for the 10years which 601a was approved. What was the other inadmisssibility for the 10year ?

How long does it take to get a response that they received your waiver package? My package was sent and received on 12/09/2019 How long does it takes for approval of waiver?
Now only 6 to 8months that's of course if your case is straightforward without missing Any thing . Look at the uscis processing time. Doing 2018 it use to take up to 16months.not anymore

Need some guidance here.
My Dad had his interview in Islamabad for his IR-5. They asked simple questions, kept his passport but gave him a 221-G. Paper says that visa is refused and has a list of documents to submit. It is asking for
- Evidence of economic solvency to be uploaded at CEAC (I dont know what this is. I have already uploaded AOS, tax returns, W2 and all related docs)
- Joint sponsor (Not sure why, I make enough money and all records are already uploaded). If I have to really put another person here, I am not sure what to do.
- IRS certified tax returns (My tax returns are already uploaded to CEAC, not sure why asking again)
- Latest W2 (again, already uploaded to CEAC, not sure why asking again)
- Evidence of matrimonial relationship, wedding/reception picture of both (I have no clue why, he is my DAD, on IR-5 application. Not a spouce on IR-1)
On top of everything, the letter says that visa is refused. I checked status online and it says Administrative Processing. What does this mean?
What should be my next steps?
Listen take a deep breath. Just give them what they requested.they kept the passport for a reason once you submit what they ask the refuse will turn to approve. Yes the paper will say refuse it's always like that. But the site will say AP . That's normal. Just give them what they ask for and stop wasting Any more time. Goodluck

Until US Entry. If you competed the DS260 correctly, it will be automatic. If not, you apply after entry.
This crba is for an infant and have no ds260.

It will take a while. I am going through it now, I am done with waiver. Waiver approval will take between 7-9 months without expedite. At embassy, it seems for people like us, who have loooonngg overstay in the US they are doing background checks by default (another 2-3 months) but they do not start it until they do not have your approved waiver, sit tight.
What the name for the waiver group on fb?

Think about it this way ,waivers take usually between 8 months to a year sometimes less sometime more ,when it came to me I had to redo everything again even sponsorship papers ,taxes ,ds260,police records ,medical and the visa fee ,your application will not be considered new unless you abandon it and year passes without them hearing from you ,unless you have a visa waiver processing then forget about what I said .
End of the day you have to refresh all your documents cause they will need new documents for anything older than 6 months.
Good luck
Thank you for your reply adam By god Grace mine will be file this month.so I doubt I have to redo anything. Maybe just a new medical

ok, you dont need to start over.. CEAC will say Refused until you have filed and gotten your waiver approved. Until such time, the processing of your visa application is suspended. They proceed only if you are able to get your waiver approved by the USCIS. It takes about 7-9 months for waiver processing
Thank you for your reply .gob bless

If you first applied for a (i601A) and got it denied you will not be able to appeal the case or reopen you will need to start over again
Mine is not 601A. It's 601 for 2years of unlawful presnce thats it. I did my entire process overseas .now my question is would i need to start from scratch after my waiver get approve. If you don't know the answer to that that's ok.but I just need someone to answer me

Had to do an 601 and 212 wavier for an unlawful present with 10 year bar lawyer said its best to do and 212 with it cause it will better win your case.
Unless there was removal or deportation 212 is not needed. Many people does 601 alone n got approved fine for their unlawful presence but ok thanks

Yes had to see a psych evaluation
Ok.one last question was there any point of time doing your 8months .did your lawyer had to appear in court for you. Since I read on the paper that 601 waivers are solely is under the discretion of an attorney General

Good evening @godschild
I have submitted back in March of 2019 as of date its been a 8 month wait so far all 601 waiver's is base off extreme hardship to your spouse who is a u.s citizen or who ever is the one applying on your behalf ect they will need to submit evidence on why they need you to be in the u.s yes I have a laywer you want a lawyer with experience of filing 601 waivers ... Some lawyers will say they do but to be honest not all know what it requires to file a good 601 waiver . do you need just a i601 ? Or do you also need a i212? Have you had your first interview at the embassy where they said you can move forward with filing a i601 ? No case is the same everyone have a unique case ...
Wow 8months hopefully soon you will get your approval.wjat evidence you submitted did you get a psych evaluation? Yes I'm aware Yes had my interview told I was eligible for waiver for 601

Wish you the best on your waiver.
Just keep in mind that the processing times changes without notice when I first summited the waiver's its said 14.5 to 18.5 month's then it changed to 8.5 to 11.5 month's then it went to 6.5 to 8.5 so at any time it can change don't count on the month's just keep an eye on the current date they are on right now its on (March 01 2019) once you summited your waiver you will see the date listed on your receipt that is the date you will need to look for on the processing time under my case statue as of today they are working on all waiver's that is dated for march 01 2019 and so on each day it will change they will also update it 2 month's in advance so it can jump a month over or 2 month's over the last time I looked it was dated December 19 2018 then the next time I checked it jumped to February 19 2019 once your waiver date is outside of normal processing time meaning its has pass your waiver dates on your waiver you can go head and contact USCIS to make a request on your case once its pass its date listed on your waiver once you make a request on your case they have 30 days to respond to the request for why your case is outside normal process time if you don't hear anything after 30 days you can contact the ombudsman and have then help you on your case . good luck keep posted
P.s plz everyone else who has been on this journey share your experience with us all if you are still waiting or if you have got your appointment or if you had to make a request on your case after normal processing . what steps y'all had to do. We are all on this long journey together and we are all hear to share our experience to help others who are just starting with this journey on there waiver's let's not keep shy we have all been there and know they feel what's its like to be waiting for something important .
Thank you all and god bless
