Does anyone know if Ethiopia is a Pivot case because my Lawyer said that everything is mailed out but someone on Visajourney told me that it is pivot. I'm confused?
-
Does someone have a link to NVC site that lists pivot and non pivot cases?

Oh ok thanks. Do you know the wait time for case# for pivot cases it is still slow or did they speed up?
-
How long does it take NVC to receive your case after USCIS says, "Sent to State Department"
-
Although no one can know for sure the NOA2 date i think that it is not wise to follow USCIS data it is very unreliable. My Service Center is Potomac and it says they process in 8-11 months but i receieved NOA2 in 6.5 months. Just use visa journey dates to guesstamate and take the free time to prepare for the NVC stage. Good Luck:)

Yes, It is. ADD is a pivot
What is the current wait time for case number for pivot countries? Or does it depend on the country?

Yes it is kinda weird. It also took forever to be updated on USCIS webpage. Mailed version got to us before they updated it online. But it is how it is. Coming from a country where 99% of communication with the government etc can be done electronically it is especially frustrating and takes good bit trying to get used to.
Yes you are 100% right!

Potomac filer here too. My PD was September 5 and I received my NOA2 in mail (not text message or online update) on March 20, although the Notice date on notice itself was March 13.
Good luck with waiting! And just so you would know, that the notice might come in any way. We had added the part that we want to be informed electronically and it never happened. It just showed up in mail. And then there are people who did get text message first.
That's great Congrats! It is strange they didn't notify you electronically when you requested it. I just wish they were more organized but its good to hear that we have September Approvals! Good luck with everything!:)

I am a Potomac filer, my NOA1 is August 25. I have not received my NOA2 as of yet. At the same time, I see several September filers (including late September) who have updated their timelines to show they've received NOA2, so needless to say I'm rather jealous. Called USCIS several times, they just give the typical "wait" speech.
Good luck! I hope you'll get it soon!
Oh wow you have been waiting over 7 months, I hope you will receive your approval soon! Good luck to you too!

My NOA1 is OCT 3rd but I've noticed that the timeline for Potomac is hard to decipher so I was wondering if there are people with NOA 1's from August or even as far back as July that have not received a NOA2.
