I just want to tell everybody that after my successful interview, today a man came in with his bagpack and riding in a motorcycle called out for my name..Yes i got my visa today only two days after my date of interview.. God is really really GREAT.. ..Goodluck and God Bless.

thank you so much for all your help with my visajourney..finally im done with my interview and thank GOd!...i was approved ..im so happy and very thankful that it went fine.

my interview was at 6:30 and i went to the embassy at 5:am.

didnt remember the exact time when they let us in but i was done around 9:30 AM.

i had my fingers scanned first before the pre-interview others had vice versa.

during my pre interview..the interviewer asked me these questions:

who is your petitioner?

what is your relationship with him?

how did you meet?

when did you meet?

when is your birthday?

you already travelled overseas right?

how many times?

what countries?

how long in each country?

he wrote down everthing he has asked from me and all my answers.

then asked if i have pictures of me with my husband...I just held my folder upright and open the pages one by one so he can see them through the glass window.. it didnt fit when i tried to slide it in.

after that he told me to wait for my number ...for the interview by the CO..

He never asked for any document except for the pictures..But i got everything ready ..

I was so nervous..i can literally hear my heart beating...prayed in silence.

Then my number pops in the screen...THE CO was so nice...she had a big smile made me feel little at ease..

i was asked the same questions the pre -interviewer asked from me..with a one addition: what does my husband do for a living...then I saw she was holding the same paper in which the pre interviewer wrote down my answers..I saw all the documents that we submitted to the NVC..she looked at them one by one..read few words..frown from time to time , looking so engrossed with what she is reading and then smile at me..then looks like she is thinking of some questions she can ask but she didnt...then ask if i got pictures with me...

she never ask for any document but just look at our pictures..this time my folder fit in the little hole of the glass window...she typed something in her computer ..then signed on one of the document that we submitted before..

then told me i am approved..with eyes wide open i asked her again?? did you say im approve maam..she smiled and said YES and wait for your name to be called for the next step..she said have a nice day..I was so happy i said thank you so much maam..couple of times and told her have a nice day too..

It wasn't written on the packet 4 yet i still provided a copy just to be safe....and still was refused by the pre-interviewee and the CO. And i was avoiding to be on AR but i didn't make it....i've been in this process for 17 months...darn! i can't wait to get out.

waiting is so easy to say but try y'all to wait is so hard and tiring.

so sad to hear ur experience but nothing to worry about, it is not a hopeless case...the fact that they let u pay for delbros delivery is a positive sign...just patiently wait and it wont take long...i just wanna ask, is CENOMAR really required for an IR1 visa application?

i don't know why they did put me on AR...because i have everything they might be needing during my interview...maybe i was just a victim of randomized check. You can't predict what's on Consul's mind....anyways, what's done is done..all i have to do right now is just to wait like those were on AR jail.

maybe recent as 1 or 2 months...yeah i agree with u...getting a copy via online is very much expensive but we can have it at our convenience. We don't have to suffer too much crowd at NSO office and less stressful. and like you, i all got my copy thru online.

thanks louiejane2903! but how recent should the cenomar be? i just thought the USE requires bc and cenomar to be secured a certain number of months from the date of interview..say bc and cenomar should be secured from nso 1 month before the interview date..because we spent so much with my bc and cenomar coz we got it via online and have it delivered in my office..first request we spent P1,700(2 copies of cenomar @ 400 each and 3 copies of bc @ 300 each) ang guess what? when i got my cenomar i incorrectly input my mother's maiden name so we have to request another one and then again we spent P400 (i requested only 1 copy)... and wasted my P800

you pretty much covered all the things that can served as ur proof of relationship and i guess need not to worry...it's all in my consul's mind and his judgement and better expect the unexpected. FYI: i got almost 4 kilos of proof with me during my interview still ended on AR. I have everything they want complete and organize is just they want to perform some background checking.

this is such a sad news...and clearly stated that everything was planned by ur lezbo wifey. I am a Filipina but i strongly believed that u have to do something her to be deported since it's a clear fraud and marry u just for convenienece...a total scammer. Since she still needs to lift her condition months from now..u still have a chance to barge her from getting the permanent residency.

Don't let her ruin ur life again. I guess ur a good guy deserves not to be treated like that.

Okay, this is for sure off topic here. but, Made my journey through this room, so I decide I would share what facts my investigative work has brought forth into evidence this week. As most of you know, I was married in the Philippines on December 29, 2005, well my wife arrived here in the USA on February 7, 2007. She had daily problems with homesickness and seemed to never be happy regardless. She left for a bike ride on the moring of April 6 and has never returned since. At first I was worried and heart broken, then I decided to do some investigating last week. Here is a copy of the letter that I sent to someone that I have been talking to by PM on a regular basis. He asked for an update, so here it is:

You won't believe this. I was contacted by a lifelong friend of my wife's that said she felt compelled to tell me what was going on. I seems that my wife is a lesbian. It is a well known fact in the community that she grew up in that she is. The cousin she refers to, is not her cousin, but her lover. Her cousin aka lover is awaiting her interview now, as she is married to a man in Arizona. I whole-heartedly believe this was a 100% scam for the two of them to be together in the USA. I know from what my wife said that her cousin/lover had no intentions of staying with her husband once she received greencard. Little did I know that the same was being done to me. I am almost 100% positive that my wife is in the USA still. Through online research, I found her picture posted on a website looking for other females in my city. The date it was posted was two days after she left, she also said she is single on this site. I found a couple pictures of naked women in her computer as well. This whole thing I believe was pre-meditated by her. I also know for fact that the cousin/lover has been living with her for over 3 years. I also know that my wifes family knows she is lesbian 100%. I never even thought she could be this way, what a con-artist. In fact, the whole family participated in this scam from the Mother to sisters. Now, I am faced with the loss of many thousands of dollars on her, her family, etc. I spent a lot of hard earned money on these people so they could have air-conditioning, new furniture, appliances, electronics, 2 new Honda motorcycles and not to mention home repairs and spending money. It makes me feel like fool, but it also pisses me off. I put my heart on the line and 19 months of my life flying back and forth during the waiting. She even clipped me for a top notch wedding for 500 people. I don't want vengeance, but I don't want her to be allowed to remain in the USA. I had not applied for her AOS and I am glad of that. I sure as hell would like to see her deported! I am even contemplating calling the man in Arizona and telling him these facts. Now, I have to find out how to get a divorce from her and I guess I will never be able to marry another Filipina, as I was married in the Philippines. Can you believe this? Now we see why the Manila embassy is so strict. I am sure this is just one example. Thanks for listening.

I just want to share the unexpected outcome of my interview this morning. I arrived at USEM around 430 am from Bayview Park Hotel. Everything went fine and the CO told me that my papers were organized and complete but they still need to verify some information in NSO regarding our status before we get married (if we have previous marriages) since we were both PINOY the time of our wedding coz my hubby wasn’t naturalize yet only last 2005 although he have been in the US for almost 15 years.

During my pre-screening (Filipino lady) only our pictures, emails, cards and snail mails were asked, I asked her if she needs to see my CENOMAR and my hubby’s 2006 ITR she said those are all fine…my money transfer receipts for the last 4 yrs were not even asked also the bank statement. Yeah, I pretty much covered everything that can served as a proof prior to our marriage but seems not enough knowing everything were organized and all originals and recent.

I feel wrecked after my moment wid the CO, I never expected it that I’ll be put on A/R. I answered all questions consistently & directly to the point with all my heart and gave some additional information like on the pictures (although it has captions already). Smiled even nerve wrecking. I don’t know where I came short. I saw some applicant weren’t even ready what to submit and present to them but end up having what they really wanted. I feel that my readings with all these visa things didn’t paid off …I still end up at the darker part of the journey. I was hoping to be reunited wid my honey in 2 weeks but I am disappointed. I strive harder but it didn’t work out. I insisted twice to present my CENOMAR to the Pre-screener and to the CO both refused to accept.

I am just wondering if I am just the only IR visa applicant here that went thru the same situation. Did I really screw up? How long am I going to be doomed?:roll:

I don’t wanna lose hope even I’ve been thru a lot of RFE’s (not our fault tho) coz I am almost there. Please..please enlighten me everyone. I don’t know when to cheer up now.

PS. They let me pay delbros and was given a paper wid “wait till u here from us” words. I brought a 3 kilos of proof but was't enough.

I am in total despair.

My wife's interview in Manila is March 28th and as of now STLL nothing, no letter, no packet, absolutely NOTHING has been received by her, me or our attorney.

Just letting you know what to expect. My wife has been to the embassy and was told if it gets to within one week and still no letter then she can come back and they will get it for her then.

hi eddie... who is the choice of agent? the choice of agent will receive the packet 4 and louiejane is right. In my case i am the choice of agent so im the one,,,, it usually takes 15 days before i get it (snail mail) always works that way for me.. Well just in case in that period of time and havent receive the packet yet.. they said just let them informed if that happens they will re send it again but this time with husband address and he will mail to me overnight..Goodluck to all of us.. I will let you know louiejane about the packet.. i strongly believe you will soon receive it.. Just keep on praying..

When my husband called NVC last thursday...he was told that the letter or Packet 4 was sent 2 days ago it means march 13, 2007...my hubby is my agent so i guess he will be the one that's going to receive it..i just need the case completion letter and i'm good to go for medical w/o the packet yet. I can call SLEC that i am going to pick up my packet either.

i hope i'll receive it soon...and i'll ask you guys to please update me with your packet thing since i am scheduled a little early than your both interview dates.

Does anyone here knows how long will it take for me to received the Packet 4? We called NVC last wednesday and they said..they sent the mail last March 14, 2007 .

I am planning to have an early medical because i don't wanna be caught by the long weekend of holy week and the monthly girl thing

i feel wrecked coz it's only 27 days to go till my interview...

i need opinions regarding my problem:

here---> MY mom's full name is Maria Theresa, i just found out that in my Birth certificate, her name was written just "Maria"..and on my Marriage certificate it is "Theresa" and to be sure what's written on her BC, i checked it and its "MARIA THERESA".

I am wondering if this would be a big problem for my case completion? I am on my 2ndeek waiting of 4 weeks completion time frame. And when i filled up my DS-230 and G-325a forms, i have written "Theresa". I am thinking to prepare an affidavit from my attorney to tell them it's one person and besides i am the one whose going out of the country and not her.

Am i am going to have an RFE for this ?

I'll be glad to hear something to enlighten me and i am very much worried now..what am i gonna do?
