  2. Dear All,

There is something I don't understand about the below instruction that I need to create account online. Does it mean I need to reschedule my interview date or what.

    https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?country=Nigeria

Please follow the steps below before your immigrant visa interview at the U.S. Consulate in Lagos, Nigeria.

Step 1: Create an account online

You MUST create an account online with our customer service provider before you can schedule or reschedule an appointment. Rescheduling is only possible on a date after your assigned appointment.

Creating an account online gives us the information we need to return your passport and documents to you after your interview. When your documents are ready for pickup, you will receive an SMS and email notice on the phone number and email address provided on this link. It is therefore important that you provide the correct information. Registration is free. Click the “Register” button below to register.

  3. This is what I got, I am a bit worried that this letter differs from the ones  I have been seeing, can someone confirm if this is how it looks like .. more importantly, it was address to the attorney handling the case.

Well for me, I was planning to visit US, So I decided to share my plan with the Attorney unfortunately his advise made me to change my mind, although he said that there is no law that says I can't enter into the US but the decisions depends on the immigration officer at the port of entry. I decided not to take chances in any form. I called my wife to let us meet in Canada..
