    My interview experience:

First i had a pre-interview.  The lady asked for my passport, my passport size 2 photos, marriage certificate, birth certificate, medical report, police certificate, and I-864 Affidavit Support.  After i gave them all these required documents, they told me to have a seat and wait and that someone will call me for fingerprint scanning.  Once the fingerprint scanning was done, i had to wait again for about an hour.  (none of my documents were attested in UAE btw, also my police certificate was from Abu Dhabi and it was the original one that was mailed to me through empost)

Then they called me for the actual interview to a private room.  My interviewer was a young American lady.  First she asked me how i got married.  Since i had a joint sponsor, they asked me who that was. Then she asked about spouse's family, siblings, and their jobs.  She also asked about my education background, my job here in U.AE, my spouse's job in U.S. , how long i've been in U.A.E., if i've visited any other countries, any prior marriages for both of us, any kids, how long my spouse has been in U.S., what city my spouse lives in, how many times and when did we see each other, when and where was our wedding, and how we communicate and how often we communicate with each other.  That's all i can think of right now.  Pretty much just basic stuff that we should be able to answer easily if it is a true marriage.

After all the questions, the lady gave me the Spousal abuse and rights pamphlet to read.  She was looking through the documents while i was reading.  Also she didn't ask for any pictures or any other proof of evidence.  I had a lot to show her.  Then she told me that they will deliver my passport through Empost.  So i asked her if my visa got approved.  That's when she said congratulations and that i have been approved.  She gave me a paper and this is what it says:

"Congratulations on the conditional approval of your visa.  We still have some work to do to finalize your case, and it is possible your case will need additional time for processing.  Within two to three days you will receive an email regarding your passport pickup at Empost.  If you have any questions, please contact the visa call center."

The interview was very straightforward. IO will only ask you questions that you already know the answers. They just want to make sure that your marriage is not a fraud and not a marriage for convenience. So basically they will asked about your love story, your husband's life and your life  So all the best!!!!
