You said you receive 24 months extension letter, that was issued January 2022, I believe the 24 months starts from when you receive that.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. The letter says the extension is from the Green card expiration date, which was October 2020.
We are really worried as time flies by and we hear nothing back from USCIS.

  2. Hi guys! We are in a similar situation Jack.
We submitted our I-751 in September 2020. Biometrics we’re taken in July 2021 and in September 2021 our status changes to “ready to schedule an interview”, which hasn’t changed since then.

January 2022 we received our 24 month letter of extension but we are still waiting. I’m worried that my job will start to ask me questions about my green card in October when the extension expires. 😞

Is anyone else (I am sure there is, just feels lonely) been waiting 2 years for the I 751?  Our filing was May 26, 2020, Biometrics completed on December 11, 2020 then nothing but crickets for the last 17 months.

Really caused an issue when we tried to buy a new home and the underwriter has basically accused us of lying since she "got her I 751 in 3 months...."

Just looking for someone to tell us they are still out there hanging in limbo too.

I submitted my I751 in September 2020, had my biometrics taken in July 2021, my status changed to “ready to schedule interview” in September 2021,  and got a 24 month extension in January 2022.
It will be 2 years in September and nothing. I’m worried too.

I’m sorry about the underwriter, that was complete out of place.

  4. Hi everyone!
My husband and I submitted our I-751 in September 2020. I got an 18 month extension letter soon after that. Last July I had my biometrics taken and my status changed to “ready to schedule an interview “ on September 2021. In January 2022, I received my 24 month extension letter which expires this October.

Is anyone in a similar situation? I see some MSC—— cases are moving much faster than mine. I’m scared of losing my job because of not having a renewed green card by this October.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My package was received on 9/10 and I'm also still waiting for a response and for my check to be cashed.  I'm also hoping mine hasn't been sent back.  It's worrying seeing others post that they received their notification in 6-10 days...

I agree, I’ve seen other cases going much faster. My check was chased last night. So I hope they send me the NOA soon.
Hopefully they’ll cash your check soon! Fingers crossed 🤞

  6. Hello August Filers!

I just started gathering all the documents and realized that the Form I-751 on the USCIS Website says it Expires on 12/31/2019 on the right top corner of the page and on the left bottom corner it says Edition 12/02/19. Does this form still work?

I also wasn't sure if I can pay with credit card since I don't know if Phoenix AZ is a lockbox  ( Fedex delivery: USCIS 1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S Suite 100 Phoenix, AZ 85034) . Does anyone know if we can pay with credit card to that place?

    Thank you in advance!
