  1. I actually just called the USCIS and they informed me his application was rejected for being filed improperly. I am at a loss for what to do. I guess our only course of action is to lawyer up and hope ICE doesn't come knocking.
  2. Hi everyone, We sent my husband's AOS packet on July 29th and it was delivered July 31st. His K-1 Visa just expired yesterday (August 15th) and we have not received any receipt numbers or NOA1 yet. Is he now illegally in the country? What are we supposed to do? Is there any way to know if they even received the packet from the post office or whether it is lost? Is anyone else still waiting for their NOA1s?
  3. My fiance's application was recently mailed from the NVC to the embassy in Phnom Penh. I only received an email notifying me of this. I have not received any letters in the mail stating the next steps. My fiance is from Cambodia where mail is not easy to deliver. Should we complete the DS-160 now or wait for the Embassy to send us some information? Does anyone have any experience with the embassy in Phnom Penh?
  4. Hello everyone, I am in need of advice. I may need to change my address soon due to unforeseeable circumstances. My fiance's K-1 Visa application is currently waiting to be adjudicated at the California office. If I change my address will it negatively affect the processing time or the application itself? How would I go about changing it? I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the application. What are the experiences that some of you have had with changing addresses? Thank you so much for any advice.
