    Just talked to a tier 2. Not much help, they put in the same lame request I did two months ago basically trying to get rid of me. Gotta call another tomorrow. They said the same thing 2 months ago when I talked to them, that name changes are usually followed by some movement.

I think you should definitely not getting upset because you don’t see a transfer rather than just patiently waiting our time at CSC just like it was supposed to be before all these transfers to Nebraska 

     

    I'm in the same camp, didn't file N-400 yet. VSC Dec 16 filer. It's been about 529 days(17.5 months). I'm even outside the approximate uscis VSC approval times. Time to call again. Ugh.uscis.thumb.png.ceef836d2d9dc9c8348ab13fb8acd4d4.png

    I've seen some people get them both in the same time. But every center is different I guess and some might be sent to local office and slow down. :)

    They receiced my RFE April 9th and so far no progress since than.

    Wonder long this wait will be. IN the case tracker app I see I am not the only one that was confronted with a RFE and some even received a RFAE.

    My paper I-551 is valid until end of December so I'll be patient.

    I just got the same email. My status now says Name Updated. "We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, and we are working on your case. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."
    Hope we see some movement on our cases. VSC Dec 25 NOA.

    Ok, so I heard back from Tier 2 and she said the case is in transfer now but she can't see where it's being transferred. She did mention it's weird that I heard from Queens office because most likely the case will be transferred to Philadelphia local office - for interview. The name and DOB notices I saw in the my.uscis.gov site, are most likely glitches she thinks. The transfer should take up to 3 weeks, hopefully from the notice date of March 5th. :mellow:
