    Yesterday I had my interview and was approved for Naturalization! Waiting to receive notice about the oath ceremony. I had an incredible FO, so friendly and warm. He had become a citizen in 2005 and was familiar with the process himself. He said he got in this career to be of help to folks going through this path -- something I would love to do down the line myself. Couldn't have done this without all of you, visajourney has been a great resource for my husband and myself for the last 8ish years!

    Yes this is exactly why I am a little nervous, I know estimates don't mean much but given the USCIS website went from an estimate of 5.5 mo to 8 I think they are noticing a trend and seeing delays. I am not overly concerned, just would like this to be over with so that I can breathe a sigh of relief.

    When I filed (1/14), the estimated wait time was 5.5 months. Now it's 8! Not surprised, but definitely disappointed as I just want to be done with all this and finally feel settled for good! Hoping for a smooth process!

    Oh my, I am an idiot. I did not realize that all of this info was in my home page, just at the very bottom! I didn't even think to check until now because my home page was in chronological order and the N-400 should've been at the top. Oy...! They waived my biometrics, yay!

    Good morning! Yesterday I filed for my naturalization! I have been eligible for a couple of years (under the marital rule), but I didn’t feel rushed to file until now. I decided to file under the 5 year rule to make it a bit simpler. I got several emails that my case had an update, but I see 0 updates and my case is stuck under “Profile>Pending Cases” in MyUscis, when normally it would be in the main page of my account. I also don’t see any information about these alleged “case updates”. Anyone else having the same thing going on?
