  1. My NOA2 was approved on 11/02 and a touch on 11/04 (assume they forward the package to NVC?) I called NVC for the past 2 weeks and they don't have my record in their system yet. I have been lurking around and see that NVC received the case about 2 weeks after NOA2. NVC told me to wait another 2 weeks and call back. Is this happen to anyone else before?

My NOA-2 date is Nov. 6th. I am at 31 days and no entry of my approved at the CSC I-129F, into the NVC system.

  2. You mean 12/13/07? :)

If so, this is awesome news!!!!!!

Haha, yes!! That'd be pretty cool if CSC could travel BACK in time after approval to prepare it for shipment!! But yes, progress.. Just need to be patient

Update: I called both NVC and DOS today. Still no info on entry into the NVC system of my spouses approved I-130 and the combined I-129F. Only my eleven year old daughter's I-130 has been received/processed.

Today is 31 days since NOA-2 approval on all three case files.

  3. Hi Everybody

We were approved November 29th and I would like to know if when our paperwork is sent to the NVC, will they insert this information on the USCIS website under status?

I ahd the same question a few weeks ago.

It now appears they do not. I received NOA-2 on all case files on Nov. 6th. As of today, NVC still has nothing in their system for my wife nor for our !-129F for K-3/4 which I intend to pursue.

Tomorrow will be 30 days since approval at the CSC and no record yet at the NVC.

  4. My fiance was denied a tourist visa while the I129f was in process. The embassy told him he was clearly an intending immigrant and therefore could not issue him a tourist visa. With that said, I have heard of a touris visa being approved once or twice for those with pending I-129f petitions.

Yes, this is absolutely correct !! Once the I-129F or I-130 process is initiated, the tourist visa is off the table, as there is now clear intent to immigrate.

I am not aware of anyone, especially from third world countries, getting a touris visa while waiting for the K-visa to process.

  5. Can a VSC'er share a story too?

    8<...

Ha! Great story! I definitely know what you mean about being paranoid when your feet hit the ground. I met my SO on a business trip to Russia, although don't tell StillThePrettiest, she still thinks I met her while I was drunk standing at the end of a bar. :) Everyone warned me about Moscow, and how taxi cab drivers will mug you, take you on the ATM ("bankomat" in Russia) tour, etc. So what happens? I'm running late to catch my connecting flight (you pretty much have to take a cab between the international and domestic terminal), and the cab driver says we'll never make it because traffic is completely jammed up inside the airport. So then he says "don't worry, come with me, we'll take my personal car. I'm parked outside the airport." HUGE alarm bells go off in my head, but there's only one flight to Kazan a day and I needed to be on that flight. So off we go, and he starts leading me through an active construction site. I'm hauling my luggage, and we're dodging backhoes, trenchers, cranes, and hopping over all kinds of construction materials and trenches. We finally get to his car after squeezing through a chain link fence, and sure enough he gets me to the domestic terminal with no problems. Turned out to be one of the nicer guys I met over there. I did wind up missing my flight anyway, but it wasn't because of him.

You just can never tell what the reality of a place is until you get there. I mean, I don't think I need to go to Darfur to believe the stories, but I do think a lot of what we hear and what the State Department puts out is just a little too paranoid. I've talked to another guy who's been to Bogota and said the same thing--nice city, nice people, never felt threatened.

Goog luck to you, hope your approval comes soon!!

Yes, the same viewpoint I have about China !! I feel safer in any major city in China, than I do walking at night in L.A. or S.F. !!!

  6. Any updates from your end? Also, could you please fill in your timeline? When was your approval date?

NVC still says they don't have mine. I am starting to get worried and aggravated!!

I'm in the same boat with you guys....approved Oct. 29, talked to NVC last night (Dec. 3)...they still don't have it. The guy says "It'll probably be here in a week or two." Wow, that's comforting. He said they can't do anything until it's been 90 days since approval. I asked what they would do then...he said "We'd try to find out where it is." Hahahaha. I feel much better now, knowing that.

Haha, no kidding. They've been saying "it will be here in a week" every week. I've seen others on VJ that have been approved at CSC, who have gotten to the NVC weeks ago! I get the feeling that some random box that had our cases is lost at USCIS somewhere... I'm trying to contact CSC about this, but having no luck. I'll keep you updated if I find anything out.

Just to add some more info to the mix.........

Both of our I-130's for spouse and minor aged daughter were approved (NOA-2) out of the CSC on Nov. 6th.

Also our I-129F for K-3/4 was approved on Nov. 6th at the CSC.

On Nov. 14th, just one week later, my daughter's I-130 was logged in at the NVC and assigned a Consulate number.

On Nov. 26th, my daughter's I-130 had a fee bill generated and was put into pending status, awaiting further instructions from me, as to pursuing it or the I-129F.

As of today, Tuesday, there is not a word, nor a record on my wife's I-130 nor the combined I-129F files being logged in at the NVC ???? On Thursday, it will be 30 days since NOA-2 approval.

  7. Ok, here is the latest chart.

I would appreciate it if you would add me to your great list.

NOA-2's all received on November 6th, for both I-130's and the I-129F for K-3/4.

Now waiting to hear from the NVC on status of wife's I-130 and the joint I-129F, which is the one we will pursue.

Now at 27 days, much slower than many others on your chart.

I hope this blast of cold and heavy snow in the far North East, will not slow things down with govt. employees staying home or unable to get to work ??

    Thanks

  8. Here is a tip on tracking your packet from NVC to your Embassy through DHL:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry1375804

It appears our petition left NVC on November 21 and arrived at USEM November 26.

Now where is that interview date? :jest:

Thanks for the info here !!

I guess I should not worry too much, as I am at 24 days today, since NOA-2 on our I-129F for K-3/4 ?? I might have also lost two to three processing/work days due to the Thanksgiving (Thursday-Friday) long weekend period ??

As you can see in my timeline, my minor daughter was processed/approved at the NVC in just a week and the fee bill issued a 12 days after that. Still waiting for wife's I-130 to get into the NVC computer, as well as our combined I-129F.

Maybe this new week ???

  9. I am starting a new thread for all those filing I-130's in May and June. I am going to be filing in 1 to 2 weeks.

Any thoughts from those of you in this May/June filing period, on why my eleven year old daughter received completed processing (Consulate number and fee bill notice) very fast for her I-130, which was approved and forwarded to the NVC on the same day as mom's I-130 and their combined I-129F, for K-3/4 and not my spouse ??

I have checked both the automated system as of today and the live person yesterday, and there is no record yet for my wife's I-130 or the combined I-129F entering the NVC system.

I have seen several others leave the CSC and process out of the NVC in just two weeks or even a few in less time.

Is this normal to have the child pass through two weeks or more before the mom ?? Are there any other K-3 or K-3/4 filers who are still waiting for the NVC pass, who are close to my time line ??

After the long NOA-2 wait, I guess I am anxious to get that P-3 without delay on top of delay.

  10. Ok, the updated chart.... added G&A, grrrlygrrl, and My Honey. Note, the chart here only includes people who have posted to this thread. If you have updates or want to be added, please post the info to this thread.

Also, note that the yellow backgrounds indicate estimated dates. Cheers.

UTR - Thanks for taking your time to keep up this chart! Next time you make an update, please add me. My I-129f was forwarded to the embassy (GZ) today, 11-23-07. Thanks again!

iray, my timeline is very close to yours. Did you receive a GUZ number from the NVC or is it issued after the transmittal to the Consulate in Guangzhou ??

What is the fastest way to obtain this number and find out if the package has been forwarded to GUZ?? My USCIS portfolio has not been updated since the NOA-2 on the 6th.

I am now in Guangzhou with my wife and will not return to California until the 2nd.

Thanks and best wishes !! ;)

I did receive the GUZ number. I called the NVC at 603 334 0700, and asked about the status of my case. I was told when it was sent to GZ, and given the GUZ number. We may pass in the airport, as I will be coming to GZ on the 2nd, and going on to Nanning to spend a few weeks with my wife.

    Good luck with eveything!!

Something to think about, if you are a K-3 and K-4 petitioner !!!

My NOA-2 date for both I-130's and the I-129F, were each issued/approved on Nov. 6th.

I checked with the NVC automated system today and discovered that my eleven year old daughter's I-130 was logged in at the NVC and a Consulate number (GUZ) was issued on Nov. 14th....only one week. My wife's I-130 and our joint wife/daughter I-129F, have not been logged in as received yet. I phoned the NVC and spoke to an agent; she advised me that each document (both I-130's and the combined I-129F) will receive separate Consulate numbers !! I had assumed that there would be one number for all of the files at the Consulate.

This also indicates to me that with a minor child, the name check and any other FBI checks are minimal; however, maybe for the adults, both petitioner and beneficiary, it takes several days longer ??? Just my observation.....hope the I-129F Consultate number is generated soon and it is mailed to China !!!!

At least we now know that the CSC can transfer a file from Calif to the NVC, in just a week or less ;)

  11. Ok, the updated chart.... added G&A, grrrlygrrl, and My Honey. Note, the chart here only includes people who have posted to this thread. If you have updates or want to be added, please post the info to this thread.

  12. Wintime, congrats on the I130 approval

As Jonh&Celia said, don't worry too much about the online status for the I129F. John&Celia, G&A, and KingsleyPrincess had the same thing happen in the last 2 weeks. They had a touch on the I129F (but the status still said pending) and an approval of the I130 on the same day as the touch of the I129F. All 3 got 2 NOA2s in the mail, both were APPROVED! Hope yours will be the same.

What a day, few minutes ago 11:49pm I checked my online USCIS profile, and I saw an update on my I-130 date, it has been touched and the date is 11/21/2007, even though we are still on 11/20/2007, that's not the end of the story, I checked the status for my I-130, and there you go

    My I-130 is approved

    Here is the message....

    [Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On November 20, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.]

But for my I-129F it still saying pending under process, but like I said above in my previous post the last update date says 11/20, that means my I-130 and I-129F were together, but only the I-130 got approved so far, I don't know what will happen to the I-129F, I hope it will follow, and I hope they will not say (because there is 2 months between both cases), ,

My Lao Po, since both were approved together, by the policy announced on Nov. 2006 here, only the I129F will be forwarded to NVC. Your I130 will be held for eventual AOS unless you file I824 to get it moving, which will cost $$ and take too long to be worthwhile. You are pretty much locked into the K3. Davejaz was "lucky" in that his petitions were not paired, and his I130 approval came so early that he chose to pursue it instead of wait for I129F.

Wow almost back to back on the NOA2 for both I-130 and I-129 huh, G&A?! Congrats!

Info for those of you in the same time frame/path.......

I have been away in China with my wife all this month and will return to the US on the 30th.

I just checked in with the CSC and found that my I-129F for K-3/4 and the I-130 for CR-1/2 have both been approved on the same day, November 6th at the CSC.

Still no word on if transfered to the NVC yet, although I assume they each have been sent on by now ??

If the I-130 moves fast, I imagine I should pay the extra bucks and pay the due bill, and move with the CR-1/2 due to the increased benefit upon entering the US ??

I will not be able to phone the NVC until I return to the US after the 30th, to check my status and get my GUZ (Guangzhou Consulate) number.

I waited about 145 days from I-129F NOA-1 until the NOA-2 and longer, of course for the I-130 NOA-2.

Sunny and very warm in Southern China !!!!

Yes, you are correct in your assessment !! I thought about this after I made the post yesterday.....it is too long a wait for that I-130 to process fully, as well as the extra $$$$$ !!! I am just hopeful that the rest of the process (P-3 and P-4) go more quickly than that NOA-1 to NOA-2 took, for those of us who filed in that May June and beyond, period !!??

BTW, do you happen to know, off the top of your head, how soon after arrival at the POE in the US, I can file the Form I-485 Application for AOS, for both my spouse and step-child ??

Thanks much for the reply !!! ;)

  13. Wow almost back to back on the NOA2 for both I-130 and I-129 huh, G&A?! Congrats!

  14. I JUST WENT TO MY REPRESENTATIVES OFFICE TO DROP OFF THE PRIVACY STATEMENT SO THEY CAN DO A INQUIRY INTO MY CASE. THEY CALLED RIGHT AFTER I LEFT. IM APPROVED. THEY JUST GOT DONE APPROVING ME WHEN MY REPS OFFICE CALLED THEM. I WAS DRIVING AND HAD TO PULL OVER. I STARTED CRYING .NO EMAIL YET AND THE WEBSITE STILL SAYS PENDING.

:D That is such great news Patrick!!!! Congrats on the approval!!! Hopefully things will move along a bit quicker for the next part of the journey!!!

THANK YOU. THE ONLY PERSON WHO DIDNT SEEM EXCITED WAS MY LAWYER. HE WAS A KILLBUZZ. I ASKED HIM CAN I COME IN SO WE CAN GET THE 134 DONE AND HE WAS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK CAUSE IM BUSY.

First, Congratulations !!! You have waited the wait !!!

Next, you do not need a damn attorney to complete the I-134 !!

Down load the form. Attach the bank info and the letter from your employer. Attach the IRS form 1040's and use the same beneficiary info from your last 1040, if dependents from a previous marriage are involved. Most of the time at the interview, they will only take a quick look at the last year's Form 1040 just to see that you are at the 125% level.

  15. Can't wait until the first August filer gets NOA2 because that means I'm not far behind! :)

NO KIDDIN! I can't wait for Aug Filers start getting NOA2. What month are getting their NOA2's now?

Well, if you must ask........I have an early May I-130 for CR-1/2 and an early to mid June I-129F for K-3/4, of which neither has been issued the NOA-2. Moreover, both are very straight forward and have no unusual issues with respect to petitioner or beneficiary. Further, there is a whole pile of May/June K-1's still waiting for the NOA-2; some, however, are starting to come through in this past week.

  16. Hi ALL,

After waiting 105 days for NOA 2, I just called the 800 number for the USCIS to see status and the recording said they sent I-797 document and to follow the instructions listed.

Is the I-797 document the NOA 2 Approval?

    Fingers crossed !!!!

    Scott and Cati

WOW !! If you have your NOA-2 today, after receiving your NOA-1 this past July 18th, you are living a really charmed life !!

The bulk of us, who filed in the May/June NOA-1's, are still waiting for the P-2, due to all the delays at the service centers. Check your online USCIS Portfolio to see if it shows up there ?? The e-mail will beat the snail mail by at least a week. Congratulations !!!

  17. Where does it say to wait 4 weeks to get to NVC? I really hope it's less.

I hate to be a bearer of the bad news but from my latest tracking/readings here on VJ, most approved(NOA2) petitions are taking anywhere from 4 to 5 weeks(as of recent) and I think for some apps it has taken even more time/weeks to transfer to NVC. Hopefully, I am wrong on my deduction.

I still haven't recieved my NOA2 yet but this long transfer delay to NVC(once NOA2 is recieved) is depressing and disheartening to me, as for many here, I am sure. For me(and I guess for most post April/May filers), this is yet another blow. I still remember back when I filed my wife's I130/K3 petitions in Mid-May, the USCIS to NVC transfer time was just 4 - 6 DAYS and NOT 4 - 6 WEEKS. Anyhow, at this point, I personally would be just happy to receive a NOA2.

Sorry once again but unless something changes, this is the reality. I would rather have my mind psychologically ready for 4 - 6 weeks than NOT because otherwise when I get disappointed, it hurts too much, just like my increasing timeline to receiving NOA2. :(

    Good Luck to all.

Overall, I agree with your assessment; however, I think we will see the the P-3 and P-4 times move a little faster, based on some other anecdotal info I have been observing. We both have almost identical I-130 and I-129F time frames and we both share the last 'touch' back in July. I, too, am still waiting for the NOA-2. If I had realized there would be this flood of filings to beat the fee increase deadline, I surely would have filed a month or six weeks earlier. I have no one but myself to blame for that factor. The bottom line is, that for those of us who filed in this May-June period we're at the start of the flood, and we will still stay ahead of the main larger wave as each step is reached !! Also, the bulk of our time has already passed by and what lies ahead will not be as great a time period, overall. I expect we will see the P-2's in this next week to ten days !!! Think positive !!

  18. Hi everyone. I just signed up, but I've been a lurker for the past 5 months or so. I check the USCIS website daily, and nothing has changed in my account since 6/22. So I decided to give the old RFE trick a try today. To my surprise the guy told me that I was approved today! It is kind of strange that the status has not been changed on the USCIS website yet. The customer service guy told me that it was because I was just approved today and I should receive my notice in 1-2 weeks. At least they're moving along with June filers. I wish you all luck!

A couple of thoughts/observations......first, there is nothing 'iron-clad' with respect to the touches. Some get one or more touches just before being approved; some right after being approved; and some get none, right up to the date of approval action. While it sure is exciting to see a touch; there is much to their internal processing system and procedure that maybe we will never understand.

I, too, have not had a single touch since it went to the CSC and I am now at day 138 since NOA-1 issued. I have resisted calling, because I am not convinced it is productive unless most filers, in your respective time frame, have already been approved previous to you.

Next, I figured today would be a slow 'news-day' due to the quasi-holiday and the preverbal office luncheons and parties and employees leaving work early to go to more parties and/or to prep the kids for tonight's festivities. Hey, people are people, be it in government or the private sector.

Last, IMO, for those of you worrying about an RFE......don't worry a lot!!! Very few RFE's are issued this late in the process. Most come soon after the initial I-130 and/or I-129F is sent in and that important first content review and document scan takes place at the front door, so to speak. It is not common to see the RFE this close to NOA-2.......if there is to be a surprise, you will most likely get it during the interview at the Consulate or Embassy. This is also why the "approval" we all speak to at this stage, is really in name only. Remember, everyone of that 10 to 20 % who get blue or white slipped at the interview, were each approved at the NOA-2 stage. And yes, at least we are seeing some very notable movement with the June filers !!! The next week to ten days will bring many more June NOA-2's.

  19. I sure hope it isn't a RFE in the making. Please God...

Hey, at least be happy you have some activity within your account !!! My NOA-1 was initiated three days before you and I have not had any recent touch activity !!! You will most likely have and NOA-2 before this week ends !!

There may also be more work involved by the Laguna staff, with respect to those of us who are K-3/4 wherein, they have the I-130 and I-129F to reconcile as well as a childs CR-2 to process ??

Most RFE's come earlier in the process, during that intial pre-NOA-1 and/or while at the NBC in Missouri, my personal observation only.

  20. Hi everybody, I have a question for anybody who can help...

I've sent in my and my fiance's file to the USCIS California service center several weeks ago (late Sept/early Oct) and we have yet to recieve the NOA.

I know the file has been delivered, that the file included everything needed (I-129F, Evidence of ongoing relationship, photos, money order, etc) and that the money order has been cashed.

Do we just have to wait and be patient, or is there somebody I can call to find out our file number?

I've recieved no e-mails with the NOA as well.

Thanks for all your help, and I look forward to being here.

    jamesjoyced,

Yes, just be patient and wait - you won't get any emails so push that thought aside. (If you could get an image of the money order, you would see your case number on it.) Once you've received your NOA1 you'll have your case number and can register at the USCIS site (HERE) where you'll be able to set up an account/portfolio. Hang in there...

how do we go about getting the image of the money order? That may help us the most, since we would both feel a lot more comfortable being able to know the process.

--Mononoke28, I'll fill in the timeline tomorrow after class

    jamesjoyced,

Since you paid by money order, how long it takes to get an image is hard to say - for the most part, by the time you get the image (if you even will) you'll likely have your NOA1. Doesn't hurt to try though - it's just that most M.O. companies don't have such convenient access to this information (in my experience). Call the M.O. company and ask - the customer service number should be on the stub you retained.

This is why, for this specific action, it is recommended that you use a personal check for the fee payment vs. a money order. With a check, once it is cashed/processed, you can immediately view it via your on line banking and photo copy the front and back, which contains your USCIS WAC #,which is the same number that will be on your NOA-1. Once you have this number (as the other member said) you can set up your on line Portfolio with USCIS and monitor activity that way. Other than that, the wait is longer now than it was a few months back. Each of us must determine how we make that time pass quickly in our own way.

  21. I was just wondering two things, My SO and I are putting our k1 visa together and we have been watching couples who have been sending their K1 to Vermont and getting approved months before the califonia center.

also, couples are send their k1 visa to chicago, I'm from Chicago, is there a center here I can send our k1 to???

I'm jealous that Vermont is getting approved faster, wish I could change my residents for a few months!!!

For those of us who are K-3/4's, after we mailed the I-130 packages to the CSC, and received the NOA-1, we then mailed our I-129F package to the Chicago, IL P.O. Box address. This was just a lock box where the mail was sorted and then forwarded to the NBC in Missouri, before being tranferred to the appropriate regional service center.

Now, since July, the I-129's are routed to the service center directly, and the step of going to the Chicago address is eliminated. If you look at the K-3 Guide here at VJ, it speaks to this change.

And yes, those who lived in the VSC area of responsibilty, had much faster service than the other service centers, up until a few months ago. Now Vermont is running close to the same as the CSC.

  22. Wow!!! The table is more and more green! They will arrive more NOA2 that week!

    Approve! Approve!

Nanda! Eles sempre dizem isso a qualquer um que chamá-los! Não se deixe abalar por isso, querida!

    Beijos!

    Hello everyone!!!

I'm just curious...no new approvals today? I was looking forward seeing a lot of Monday approvals...

Come on CSC...give us our approvals...we are waiting!!! I've noticed VSC has started approving June filers...wow, I wish my case was at VSC!!!

I mentioned in another thread, I don't think that Monday's, the first day of the new work week are always good days to see a lot of action out of a government office with respect to processing case files. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, we should see the flow of approvals start up again.

One last comment as an FYI. I read your time line here and yes, it was true about the computer delays in getting out the NOA-1's for the I-130's back in May and June. I got wind of this at the time I mailed my I-130 in early May, and when the NOA-1 did not show up when expected, I phoned the CSC and spoke a very nice female VIO who also advised there was a computer problem in generating the NOA-1 receipts in a timely manner. She told me she would order (2nd request) the NOA-1's again for me. But she added that it would take two weeks for them to arrive. I asked her if I could send in the photo copies of my canceled fee checks for the I-130's with the WAC #'s on the back, along with a copy of my USCIS Protfolio info from their webpage, as evidence in lieu of the receipt form. She told me this would be ok, and to try it. I did and I had my NOA-1 for my I-129F (for K-3) one week later !!! Therefore, I did not have to wait for the copy of the NOA-1 to arrive in the mail to attach to the I-129F. I was able to file sooner and stay ahead of the delays caused by the earlier computer issue; of course, until this lastest delay glitch over the NOA-2's.

  23. I was kinda hoping to see some approvals here today...

Mondays are a tough day to see, early in the day, approvals....due to the start of a new work week; IMO.

If an approval comes on a Monday it would most likely be late in the day, or with the start of a new weekly cycle of approvals, on Tuesday morning ???

I noticed that my two previous NOA-1 notices (I-130 and I-129F) were both early morning time-tags.

I still have not had a single touch, since late June and early July. My WAC# is 07174....

  24. I'm a wac 017935

Thanks Tim...you just proved that the case# has no relavance to approval time. I hope they send many approvals out next week!!! Good Luck to us all!!!! :)

Haha mine is wac0717..... :P I do think that they will send out many approvals this week! It would be an exciting week for me lol..

And I think you will get yours so soon! Just be optimistic!

Ben & Yuki, is it possible? hahaha our WAC goes right after yours, ours is 0718.

    Well there we go!

Yes, I think it is possible! Our day is coming soon!

Just keep updating timelines everyone!

This all seems like good news. Ben & Yuki, our # is 0719

Which means you are right after us since we are 0718

Uh, I hope that's what it means.

    Good luck.

#07174 is the number series they will be working on this week at the CSC in beautiful Laguna Niguel, CA !!!! In fact, now as we speak, two guys just walked out to that big semi' parked in their back parking lot, and scooped up a couple of armloads of case files to work on today.........Oh no !! one of the guys just dropped two or three files in the parking lot and neither of them noticed this, and the Santa Ana winds are blowing again today, real hard......... :crying:

  25. Hi Everyone,

I am almost ready to file my I-129F, G-325A, etc. I have almost all of the documents now, but I am still getting answers to a few questions from my girl. After reading a number of posts, I was leaning in the direction of simply doing all of this myself (very carefully), but when I told my fiancee my intention, she became terrified. She is scared to death that her son will not be allowed to come. I have tried to reassure her, but she still is very frightened. So, now I am thinking that I need to find someone to help me with this (while I keep a close eye on how they are doing it). My girl and I have already had some very heated arguments over money. I fear if I am unwilling to pay for help, then she will see that as proof that I am cheap, that I love money more than I love her, and that I am not too concerned about her son.

Has anyone here heard of Roger Lin (offices in Nanning and Shanghai)? I recall reading a post somewhere by someone who was very impressed with him, but now I can't find the post. I like the idea of having someone there on the ground in China who can speak fluent Chinese, and who can help my girl with document gathering and filling out of forms. This would be particularly helpful with the Guangzhou part of this process. My girl is scared to death of all the various forms she has to try to deal with, and equally frightened of the interview. I have tried to calm her, and have tried to ask her questions to get all of the proper information for the I-129F, G-325A, etc., but she just doesn't understand what I am asking her, and sometimes why I am asking her things. I keep telling her it is because the American government wants to know. She says, "But in China...." Then I remind her that we are trying to bring her and her son to America, not China, so we must do everything we are asked to do. So, with all of this in mind, I emailed Mr. Lin a few days ago to request a little more information about his services, but I have not received an answer. Now, I am wondering if something happened and he did not receive my email, or if he is not very responsive when you need help.

Thanks to everyone here for any help you can give me.

Hi, I have used Roger Lin and am using him, primarily to assist my Lao Po in GZ. He has always been very responsive to me and only over the weekend, is it sometimes harder to get in touch with him. He also has a very good website.

He is now waiting for my P-2 and then when my wife gets the P-3/4 packages so he can assist her further. His initial paperwork was error free, and his fee was where one would like it to be.

PM me if you have more trouble getting in touch with him and I will double check the e-mail address you have. I also have his phone number.

    Roger and Hongxia
