Hope you could help me.

I would like to seek some advise my husband and I are married last April 2015.

My husband is US citizen, he was divorced here in US to a filipina but they never informed the Philippine consulate regarding their marriage. Last year, I tried to renew my passport to be change under my husband surname. But I was denied due to my husband birth was Philippines, he got his US citizen by Naturalization. We were advised to have his marriage annulled in the Philippines. He was here in US since 5 years old, its been a while he return in the Philippines and such hussle process just to renew my passport?

I only have 1 year validity of my Philippines passport and I'm currently in the process of my removal of conditional greencard will take 8 to 12 monthhs processing. My concern is the timing while waiting to receive approval 10 year greencard to the expiration of my Philippine passport.

Is there a way I could just used my old information status in the Philippines? Will my Philippine passport be renewed?

Any inputs highly appreciated.
