Hi guys! I ve now received my NOA2 and waiting for NVC to receive our case and get contacted by the embassy. thanks to visajourney, i managed to find the list of documents the Greek embassy (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VFUSaOoUMesBn8OqHmSdY7TEje6aQuW0/view?usp=sharing)  will require and started preparing them. I am a bit stressed out though since most of them will take a while to obtain.

Did you guys had to get any police records from countries you stayed for more than 6 months? And if so, did you translate those?

Also, they are asking for W2s for the past 3 years along with "tax documents". Since there is not a W2 form in Greece, what did you submit?

thanks in advance for your replies :)

I have already received packet 3 they only wanted w2s from me the petitioner in the u.s not for my fiancé in Greece. It also says there is no need to have documents translated that are in Greek or English you can do it if you want but we chose not to since it clearly states that there is no need.

as long as you make enough and have had steady income, its pretty simple. if your income is close to the minimum, you may want to consider having a co sponsor on standby (have the forms and documents completed before hand and have your fiance have them at the interview just in case)

Ok thanks so much you were very helpful!! Wish me luck haha

because they cant give legal advice.

yes. previous years tax returns, employment letter, current pay stubs (I'd go back a few months) should suffice as long as it meets the minimum income requirements. Owning a house or a car, or having investments or savings, is not required.

Oh ok thanks I’m just so nervous it’s been such a long journey and I don’t wanna blow it right here in the end. I’m dying to get this interview date I haven’t seen him in 5 months...

  4. Yeah I don’t have any assets I have a house and car but they are both not in my name I have all my pay stubs for the year and my tax returns also a employment letter so this means I’m ok? It just freaks me out because it says on the affidavit instructions to have it. I called uscis they are seriously no help they told me to get an attorney 😐
