Thanks but pls.what does that mean to schedule it yourself , do you meant department of States are not responsible for noticing my interview after my case is reaffirmed but the consulate do ?

Pls help me know it properly because I need to know .

The embassy will notify your spouse that you can now schedule your visa appointment at a weblink provided in the letter. So u register n then you schedule your appointment as soon as there is an available date. NVC don't schedule reaffirmed second appointment.

Sorry what does expiring soon means and what does the ceac status change to when a case is denied after interview. Does it still says “Ready” after interview and a case was denied?

Nope, after a case is denied for some weeks/years it changes to Administrative Processing. Expiring Soon pops up after 1year seating a Noir or rebuttal of the denied case.

Moreover, when case is reaffirmed and sent to Ghana the ceac status now changes from Expiring Soon to Administrative Processing  during Consulate Review at the Embassy. Hope am clear. That's my experience monitoring my case.

After a very long wait, rebuttal, RFE's , and lots of trips , my spouse's reaffirmed interview has been successful.

She entered the consulate with her appointment letter , supporting documents, police report, medicals, etc. . The whole process took about 2 hours.Fingerprints taken, CO asked her name and typed lots of info on her computer and carefully went through her documents . Gave her a white sheet instructing her to check with DHL for her passport with her visa. No questions. I thank all members who in one way or the other helped through the process. I couldn't be more grateful.  Will be contributing to help members who are in similar situations and offer my experiences . Thanks to you all.

Congratulations!!! To God be all the glory!!!. Finally finally. Kindly private message me your contact to inquire some few info from you. Thank you! Am also awaiting my second reaffirmed appointment at the consulate after my 2016 interview. Case status reads "Administrative Processing". And am patiently waiting well.

Please hope to hear from you soon

Hello fellow VJ members , please I'm not been contacted but look at what my case stated yesterday :

    U.S. Department of State
    IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
    Issued
    Immigrant Visa Case Number:    ACC
    Case Created:    17-Sep-2015
    Case Last Updated:    19-May-2018

Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you were interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted.
For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV.

Please help me out , because we thought our case is still at USCIS , any help will be appreciated .

Do you have your passport with them? If Yes, then your through. So expect your visa in few weeks time. If not but with you then contact the consulate section via email or voice call to find out the status of your case. Moreover, was your case reaffirmed and sent to the consulate.

  6. How far with you all? Any update on your cases??? Any second appointment or approved visa. Did they schedule your appointment via voice phone or email. Please kindly share your experience. We are awaiting for the next action. Our case was denied Dec, 2016 and now it has been reaffirmed by USCIS, Moved through NVC and finally it is at the consulate now. My daughter was did her DNA and I did mine too. The result should be in by now it was 99.9999%. What should we expect now. Missing my wife and children. Folks share some experience with us here. Thank you

Thanks for your response, but we have been reaffirmed on 16 April 2018 and received a decision letter from the USCIS which was written on 18 April 2018 telling us they will be sending our case back to NVC.

On 24 April 2018 we received an e-mail from our lawyer which came from NVC  confirming they received our mail from the USCIS and asking to give them 30 days from the date they received our case for the precessing an interview.

30 days and two weeks we call to verify our case but NVC told us again they didn't yet receive our mail from the USCIS and that the email we received from NVC was an error ,so we should contact USCIS for our case to be send to them .

We call USCIS and they too told us that everything is  still under reviewing .

And when we asked the USCIS is our case not reaffirmed or what ?  They said yes it been reaffirmed.

So as at now we don't really understand what going on and we informed our lawyer to find out what going on .

Have you hear from the consulate soo far????

  8. Folks, how many days did it take you all to be rescheduled for the 2nd appointment after your DNA test result was 99.99999%. Were you all called on phone or you were asked to mail your passport for visa. Please share your past experience with me. I think we all had our interview in 2016 but it was unfortunate they couldn't issue me a visa. Our case was reaffirmed and now here at the consulate section.

Not yet.  However I called NVC and they said that once the case reaches the embassy the second time they do not schedule these interviews.  I was able to email the embassy and received a generic response that they have a reduction in their workforce and they will notify the beneficiary asap.  I'm  hoping soon because my file left NVC on May 16th.

    okay. Thanks for the response.

  10. I know its been almost 3yrs already. So after the results were in. Did they call on phone or emailed you all for an appointment. My case was sent back to USCIS in 2016 now case has been reaffirmed and sent to Ghana Embassy May 1st, 2018. Daughters DNA was done and mine too has been conducted.  Please any info on this process will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Then the NVC notice should be in your mailbox pretty soon. They mailed out at the same time.

For our reaffirmed case we weren't notified. But I called the embassy and they said ; we have received your case and it's here. We will contact you

They will call you and tell you what you need to do next. My case they told to submit more evidence. They will give you the appointment by phone. Most likely your visa application will be approved because it came with a recommendation from uscis to approved.

Thank you for sharing this info

After reaffirmed, it will stay at NVC about a month then will forward back to the embassy. it will take approximately 4 months.

for my case they didn’t ask for a second interview but asked to submit more evidence. Now waiting for a decision (AP).

So were you called on phone or emailed for your second appointment to submit more evidence
