Can't get text messages in or out of Hong Kong and very difficult to get phone connection as well

Moneygram. I used to us WU but it was way too expensive. The economy transfer takes a few days but only 10 bucks.

Several times a day. I use pincity.com (2.9 cents per minute) as Nieves does not have internet access except on Sunday at the Internet cafe. I always call her and if she wants to talk to me she rings my phone and I return the call. November I called her 127 times(some voice mail messegages) for 1407 minutes for a total cost of $41.10. The service is very cheap for all of China I think.

In my timeline I have listed California as my service center even though I sent my I129F to Texas and had it transferred to Ca. Should I list my service center as Texas or California. Also my my I-797C has a recieved date of October 13,2006 and I notice date of October 23, 2006 and I have listed my Noa1 date as October 23,2006. So you are saying that I should change my timeline to an Noa date of October 13? Is this the way everyone else has been entering their timelines? Thanks

Exact copy???? oops. I have copies of everything but not sure just which letters and phone records I sent. Don't have copies of the pics I sent but my fiancee does. Just not sure which ones I included. So should I try to reconstruct as close as possibe or just send to my fiancee the copies I have and let her take the whole thing to the interview? Also do I send her my passport?

My fiancee lives in Hong Kong but is from the Baguio City in the Philippines.Does anybody happen to know what percentage of filers are on this site or how many K1 applications are filed every month at the service centers. Hi Sankofa, wow you are right. I am hoping we can get the visa by sometime in February but won't be worried until April due to the expiration of my fiancee's employment contract. She is from the philippines so if she has to leave Hong Kong we will have to start all over again I think. Best of luck to you and to everone waiting for thier approvals.

Thanks. Yes, I have seen this. But the purpose of that thread is different. The purpose of this thread is specifically to track recent filings, particularly since so many of them have been transferred to other service centers. I am hoping this will become a thread that will make it easy for recent filers to keep abreast of the experiences of others in a similar situation - not someone who filed months ago or who had issues because of the IMBRA transition.

We filed the K1 in October also so I will be very curious to see how close our timelines are to others that filed at about the same time. Eventually we will be dealing with the embassy in Hong Kong.
