Use a trackable method and pay attention to the address as FedEx (Physical) and USPS (PO Box) have different addresses. You can check on USCIS website or google where to mail i-130 to get the exact one.
  3. Thanks

I took my oath today and am finally a US citizen. It took 4.5 months longer than my wife even though we applied at the same time.  I had to do bio metrics twice because I was sent another notice. Best of luck to all of you waiting, your time will certainly come. It's definitely a great feeling to be a US citizen. Below is my timeline

Answering my own question. The oath ceremony notice (letter) gets uploaded onto the USCIS website just like all the other documents. My wife's oath ceremony is scheduled for May 18. Her interview was on April 10 so it took approximately 2 weeks to get the letter

For all of you guys, if you didn't read what I wrote on the previous page, I quoted it here for you guys, please read:

"Let me share with you this. I'm the original poster of this thread. Meaning I had been stuck in background/ name check for a long time just like you. I did research and tried a lot of things to push my case forward too. Unfortunately, nothing worked. It's hard to accept this but if you are stuck, that means you are STUCK, you can't do anything until the FBI finish their job. I guarantee with you that no matter what you try, it's not gonna work, so don't waste your time.

Here is the truth, there are only 2 scenarios here:
    1. If you are stuck, and have not been stuck for a year (count from the date you submitted your application). So you are fine, nothing you can do but wait. Your case is gonna be automatically cleared when it approaches 1 year. This happened to most of cases ( > 90% )
    2. If you have been stuck for more than a year. Meaning you are so unlucky and having 2 options:
----- Continue waiting until the case cleared. Nothing guarantees when it occurs, normally 1.5 years to 8 years, or more, this is what a USCIS officer told me when I had my infopass.
----- Take your action: file a lawsuit against USCIS . This works most of the time and really push your case forward by forcing USCIS to pay attention to you. But this does cost money. According to people who recently filed the lawsuit, they spent around 3k upto 7k for a lawyer to do this."

Also, if you are one the people in case #1 above:
DO NOT TRY TOO HARD FORCING USCIS DO SOMETHING FOR YOU.  THEY WILL NOT AND CAN NOT DO ANYTHING BUT GIVE YOU A FLAG IN THEIR BACKEND. THAT MAKES IT WORSE AND DELAY THE REVIEW PROCESS.

You can check official USCIS field office published times at

    https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

And compare your estimate to the officially published time to get a better idea
