Hi everyone,
My name is Anthony and I am the U.S petitioner helping my fiance who is in Argentina. We are very close to submitting all of the paper copies for packet 3 to the embassy, and had a few questions that hopefully someone here could clarify. We have assembled everything so far in a binder, with dividers and "folios" for each page. The packet 3 instructions says:
"[...] send us this form attached to the copies of the above mentioned documents/ certificates by regular mail, courier or leave them in a closed envelope addressed to this section at the Embassy entrance (Ave. Cerviño 4320, 1425 Buenos Aires)."
Would it be ok to submit all of the paper copies of our evidence in this binder? As far as original documents to present on the day of the interview, my fiance is planning to only bring her original birth certificate, passport, police certificate, medical examination envelope, original affidavit of support I-134's signed by me the petitioner and a co-sponser, and some original signed documents for the relationship evidence. Would my fiance need to bring two more color photos to the interview as well or can the two photos just be sent along with the copies? (#2 in packet 3 instructions). If there is anything else we would be missing I would really appreciate feedback from anyone. I am not sure what other pages/documents we need to bring with signatures on them.
Also, as a petitioner I am currently unemployed (recently graduated from university) and have been looking for a job since I graduated. I may get a job right before my fiance's interview or right after, so that's why we included a co-sponser. My worry is that since I was in school the past few years, I do not really have any other financial documents on my behalf that I can submit, as I did not make enough income to have tax returns or w2's in the past three years, except maybe in one of the previous years. Would it be ok if we just have all of the supporting financial documentation (1040's, w2, etc.) be from our co-sponser? I did include my own I-134, as well as that of the co-sponser.
@Fernanda R Sanz, I noticed that you mentioned about including IRS transcripts. We have W2s and 1040's, (3 years worth) bank statements (past year), pay stubs (past 3 months), and verification of employment from our co-sponser. Would it still be necessary to include IRS transcripts? I felt that we had enough but now I am second guessing. Thank you all for your comments and feedback, this thread has been very helpful.

Hi everyone,
I was not able to write earlier but wanted to update everyone that my fiance was able to turn in the packet 3 successfully, and we are eagerly waiting for her embassy interview in early April.
Right now the only concern that we had, and maybe someone else here also has or had before, is after paying for the k1 visa fee, we received a confirmation email that said the following:
"You have successfully scheduled your appointment and paid the K Visa application fee. Here are the details of your transaction.
You must print this instruction page and bring it with you to your consular interview, along with the letter or email you received from the Consular Section."
The part that I bolded above is our current doubt. We are not 100% sure if we were supposed to receive another email of some sort from the embassy, or if it's simply the email that we did receive when the embassy invited us to submit packet 3. I think that it is the latter, that the email we receive from the embassy themselves giving the permission to submit packet 3, is the one we need to print out and take to the embassy?
Any clarification on this would be much appreciated. I am so grateful for this forum and everyone that has helped us out thus far.
