    Thanks for the info.

So, if we file at Phoenix lockbox it goes to Nebraska?

Im in the UK and hubby USC in the USA at the moment.

So my interview will be here in London at the US consulate after all the paperwork goes through the service centre etc.

With that said, would I get a biometric appointment? Here in the UK?

I thought yours was employment based. Let me correct my previous reply. There is an intake processing delay at phoenix lockbox. Usually all the phoenix lockbox handles intake for Nebraska Service Center. But I am not sure in your case where you application would end up. Read your story about the package sent back due to wrong fees.

I had asked if I would also get a biometric appointment?

I am in the UK and my USC husband is in USA. I will have my interview here in the  UK , at the US consulate , once the paperwork goes through all channels.

Will I get called for biometrics later then? We didn’t fill in a form for it as it wasn’t included in the pack.

I didn know that you were applying through consular processing. I dont have much idea about that process but someway or the other your biometrics will be done at the consulate, probably they will send you a letter about that..

Hi. Did your cheque get cashed and did you finally get email

     notification?

So we sent to Phoenix lockbox as well. It was signed as delivered by fedex on 2nd March

    2019.

No NOA1. Nothing yet. The cash is not yet cashed either.

My application reached USCIS on Feb 8th, I didn't receive any notifications until Feb 27 when I got the SMS/email and the same day check was cashed. Don't worry be patient, there is application intake delay at Nebraska, but your priority date on your I-765 and I-131 will be the same as the day when your application reached the center. Your biometrics appointment for I-485/I-765 will be about in a month from the day when your check got cashed. If something is wrong with your application you will receive it back within a month or sooner. Keep us updated.

We just checked. The cheque has not been cashed yet. So no idea if there is a problem or not.

Hey mandy_786, any news on your case??

I would really appreciate any updates.  I'm also desperate waiting for the waiver approval.

    Thank you!!

My J1 waiver timeline based on no objection,

    • November 17, 2017 - Sent DS-3035 and other documents to DOS
    • December 21, 2017 - DOS sends Favorable Recommendation to USCIS
    • December 28, 2017 - I-612 case was received at USCIS lockbox
    • January 4, 2018 - Received Receipt Notice from USCIS in the mail
    • January 29, 2018 - Received approval notice from USCIS. Case status online is not yet updated
  6. My application package reached the Phoenix Lockbox on Feb 8th, 2018. But as of now, I did not receive any SMS/email notification through my form G-1145, no receipt notice, nor did USCIS encash the enclosed check. USCIS says to wait for 30 days before contacting the lockbox. If I contact Lockbox support, they take 15 days to answer. I have already sent them an email a week ago, even when its not 30 days yet. But do they really take 30 days to process the application?

Is there anyone else here who has recently sent their I-485, I-765 and I-131 application package to Phoenix with a similar timeline?

I will update here once I receive a notification, or have any update on my case.

    Thanks.

  7. @greenvis_112 Is your case also based on no objection? I assume the DOS issued a favorable recommendation for your case. I have heard that no objection cases are quicker than the hardship waivers. I received the approval notice from USCIS, but I do not know why the online status of my case is still not yet updated. I hope you will receive your approval notice soon.

  8. Received approval notice from USCIS today.

  9. The spouse's application will be dependent on mine. We contacted USCIS twice, they said to send the application to our respective USCIS lockboxes. For my spouse they asked him to include my I-140 approval notice with his application. But when we asked a couple of lawyers, some said send it together, some said send it seperate. I think we will go with the USCIS's suggestion to send it to our respective USCIS lockboxes.

  10. Thanks for quoting a previous post. My I-140 EB1A got approved, based on which we both want to file for I-485. I am living in Pennsylvania and my husband in Wisconsin. Thus I fall under the Dallas lockbox jurisdiction and my husband fall under Pheonix lockbox. There is no option to mention permanent or temporary address. We will have to enter our own addresses in the forms. But at the end do you think we should send our application together to the same USCIS lockbox or different?

  11. Due to employment reasons, temporarily me and my husband are living in different states that fall under different USCIS jurisdiction. Should we submit for I-485 together at the USCIS jurisdiction where the principal beneficiary I-140 was approved or should we send our application to our respective USCIS jurisdiction lockboxes?

  12. Hi,

Both myself and my spouse want to file for I-485, based on my I-140 approval. I live in Pennsylvania and my spouse lives in Wisconsin for employment reasons. We have a valid marriage relationship and all the proofs related to that. But when filing is considered, It seems that we will have send our I-485 and other application material to different USCIS lockboxes. Mine will be the Dallas Lockbox and my spouse's will be to the Phoenix Lockbox. So in the form I-485, part 5, item 10, what should we say for spouse applying with you, yes or no? I am thinking of saying no, because we are applying at two different USCIS location.
