That really is weird! Had my interview yesterday, but went alone... they asked me how we had met (which I almost choked while answering, I was so nervous haha), if he had ever been to Brazil, if I’d ever gone there, if I’d ever stayed in the US for longer than allowed, and when had he proposed... After calming down while answering the first question, the rest came out easily. I took a bunch of Facebook history and a call log from this year to have proof of relationship from since we sent the petition, but they didn’t ask for anything.

She wasn’t SUPER friendly like the Brazilian who talked to me before (getting all my documents), but she certainly didn’t ask me these kinds of questions either!

She approved my visa and told me to check my email in about 2 weeks, because they’ll let me know when it’s ready for pickup at the CASV in São Paulo.

Scheduled my interview and biometrics appointment 2 days ago, but it's a holiday in Brazil (Carnaval)... So I gotta wait until tomorrow or Thursday to call and schedule the medical.

If anyone's done with the medical, let us know! Is he gonna order blood work? Am I gonna have to do it and then go back to his office again? How does the whole thing work?

I’m kinda new to this website, and I’ve been reading some of the topics, but I couldn’t find the answer to what I need. So here’s hoping somebody might be able to help me... *fingers crossed*

I’m starting to gather all the documents I’m gonna need to take to the interview (which I haven’t scheduled yet, still waiting for the P3 from the consulate in Rio). And I read I need police certificates for all the countries I’ve lived for more than 6 months. Considering the only countries I’ve lived are Brazil and the USA, do I need police certificate for these 2? I’ve tried getting one from the New York State police through my fiancé, but the police does not release this kind of information to a third party. Considering I’m applying to the USA, they probably have more access to that info than I would ever have...So do I need a police certificate for my time in the USA?
