Bring an interpreter. https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-2449/0-0-0-2798.html "The interpreter must be impartial and able to interpret without bias. An impartial and unbiased individual is one who does not have a predisposition or preconceived opinion about a matter."
Yes bring an interpreter if your spouse needs it. My wife didn’t need an interpreter so we didn’t have to do that, but I saw some people with interpreters.

... So basically they considered the K1 medical package which already submitted with the I-29F .. you really never submitted I-693 correct
??
Yeah my wife did her medical exam right before her K1 interview in October last year, and that’s all we’ve ever submitted. I brought a copy of the same medical exam results just in case it was asked for but we’ve never done the I-693, I think the exam results are enough as long as they weren’t expired when you submitted them.

Hi brother ! So my wife interview will be in Salt lake city this month too , please let me know if she is good with medical based on her papers from overseas or did they need new medical I-693 ?? Good luck to you today .. waiting on your good news
Hey man! Just finished our interview and we were told we were approved. The guy was very friendly and the interview only took about 15 mins. The only documents he asked for were documents showing our joint assets (jointly owned cars, homes, tax returns, joint accounts, etc).
i still suggest bringing everything they request in the letter, but he didn’t ask for a new medical exam doc or anything. Overall our interview was very simple and quick, and he told us he’d submit our approval today. Good luck!

My wife got a medical exam on Oct 22, 2018 in Madagascar. We submitted that along with her AOS packet in March 2019. Her green card interview is scheduled for this week, and I see they say to bring her medical exam results. Does that mean we have to rush and get her a new medical exam or can we bring those same results from Madagascar again?

Hey! My fiancée is getting ready to schedule her interview at the embassy and we saw that they want to see my W2 forms. Only thing is, I’m self employed and don’t have W2’s. In my I-129F application, I explained that and included my previous years tax returns as well as invoices and bank statements to show my income, but none of that comes from employers. What forms do we need to provide?

My situation is very similar. I am self employed but do odd jobs here and there. I assume you are referring to what documents you need for the Affidavit of Support? If so, I just sent along that last three years tax transcripts (which you can get for free off of the IRS' site) as well as a letter from my bank stating when my account was opened and how much money was deposited within the last year.
They want to see that you make 100% above the poverty line at the visa stage and 125% above at the AOS stage. I had no problems at the visa stage...we're now at AOS and fingers are crossed.
Thanks! I’m just now learning about this process, so this helps a lot. The AOS stage begins after we’re already married correct?

Please help! I am filling out the documents to apply for the K1 visa right now, and I'm coming across all the times I have to verify my current/previous employment over the past 5 years. Here's my situation, I have had regular jobs with companies before, although a majority of my work has been freelance/contract work as a filmmaker/photographer. I don't have an official business entity, I just work for myself and file my taxes under my name. Should I be listing the names of companies I've freelanced for, or should that only be for companies I've signed W-2's with? Most of my work hasn't involved tax documents as I'm usually paid in cash and then file my own taxes. ANy suggestions? Thanks!

They asked my wife how she’s adjusting to life here, what she does for work now, how we met, what our future plans together are. Then they did the long list of questions that you’ve seen in your applications (ever taken part in drug trafficking, human trafficking, terrorist organizations, etc).
