  1. Hi everyone! Just thought I would give an update on this! I sent off my i-751 packet on 12/4 and received a text notification that it had been received on 12/11. On 12/21, I received my NOA in the mail letting me know that the document was okay to be used as proof of residency and to travel for the next 24 months while they are processing the i-751. I guess this is an indication that they accepted my packet & I will not be getting deported! Very relieved about this! For those of you who are interested, I did submit my packet with a cover letter apologizing that I was filing late (by about 11 weeks) and that 2021 had been a difficult year for me after being diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I did include a letter from my doctor that said it was reasonable for someone with that diagnosis to miss an important deadline like this. Sending good luck to everyone going through the immigration process!
  2. Thank you all very much for your input, I appreciate your thoughts and points of view. I will be sending off our petition in the next 24 hours and will be sure to give you an update on what the USCIS decides.
  3. Hey everyone, Life got away from me and I just realized that I was supposed to file my I-175 form by the time my conditional residency expired on 9/18/21. It's now 10 weeks past that date and I don't really have a 'good cause' reason, except that this year sucked and I was just so distracted with COVID and my work that I forgot to check the expiration date. I am getting together all the documentation I need and will file the form in the next week. Has anyone had this same experience or am I the only silly one? I am scared that they will deny my condition removal! Thank you for any words of wisdom on this. Cheers, Georgie
