Hi,
I have filed I-130 for my wife. She studied in Philippines as a foreign national for about 6 years. She took NBI clearance before returning back to home country in 2017 ? NBI Clearance expired (was valid until) June of 2018. She has not been back to Philippines after she finished her studies in 2017. On the other hand, I have received NOA1, we are waiting on NOA2, In NOA2 stage, we have to submit NBI clearance for her duration of time spent in Philippines as student.
My question is : 1. Does she need to make new NBI clearance for NOA2 since it expired or will it the same NBI clearance be OK ?
2. She is a foreign national who studied in Philippines, what are her options to make a new NBI clearance without revisiting Philippines if new NBI clearance is required?
I would really appreciate your input
Thank You!!!

Hi,
My Estimated wait time initially was 24 month when I did my fingerprint.
After 3 months it went down to 18 months and today when I checked it, went from 18 months to 25 months showing estimated completion time to April of 2020.
Please, provide your suggestions or comments.
Thank You.

Nola,
Very well said. I appreciate your optimistic view. Despite so much pessimism going around nowadays, you still want to see a brighter light. I applaud your view.

I have heard and read through couple of articles on USCIS and DHS accessing social media, associated identifiable information, and search results” of any and all immigrants — including both permanent residents and naturalized citizens. In other words, if you’re an immigrant — or even just applying for the chance to be one — not only will you have to worry about the U.S. government combing through your various social-media profiles, but that they will also be able to obtain information on you through basically any and all digital means available since October of 2017.
One of the example, in my opinion, is USCIS converting a paper application into digital application since last year. Another is USCIS sending a weekly or/and bi-weekly email and SMS saying, "Your case is still being reviewed" " where by motivating the applicants to check their application online and when they do they are retrieving the cookies and different types of caches information from Web browser. As this is possible as any developer who has worked with caching knows. What do you guys think about this? I have also added a link to an article on this topic.

Hi,
I have noticed that some applicants have an interview scheduled really fast. One applicant, that I know filed the application mid-Dec 2017 and right after his figure print on 2nd week of Jan he has his interview date scheduled? Some field office like Houston or Dallas has wait time up to 2 years for an interview. I have also seen some applicant in Houston and Dallas has wait time reduced to just few months.

Nop for past couple of months they are issuing IOE for paper applications.

I am not an online filer. I mailed by application.

What are you trying to say can you please clarify?

Hi,
I got an email from USCIS today mentioning "Your Case is Still being Reviewed". I had done figure print a week ago, after which my status changed saying your case is under review. However, I have another email saying Your Case is Still being Reviewed. I have never heard USCUS sending an additional email mentioning case is still being reviewed. Anyone any thoughts? Fee Paid: October 30
POE: November 6th, 2020 (Dallas)
Status: Still, " Immigration Visa Fee Payment Received"
Status has not changed since Oct 30th, 2020 since I last paid the visa fee. I have chatted with an agent and she says I am well inside processing time and suggested me to wait 120 days. It has been more than 90 days since I paid the fee for OS-155A. Any suggestions, comments, I tried to keep in inquiry and it is not letting me, as the system is saying I am inside processing time, however, 90 days have already passed.
Thank You!
