This happens occasionally, sometimes there is a problem with the biometrics capture at the airport and then it has to be redone.
Thanks a lot for your answer. But I have another question... may be you can help, on uscis status say "New card is being produced" Do you think that he can receive the green card the same date that he goes for the fingerprints?
Thanks!

Hi!!!
My husband visa category is IR5, he enter on US last December 2018 and he did the fingerprints at the airport. Today he received a letter from uscis and he needs to go in February to do fingerprints again. Is this a new way to get the green card in person? It is anybody else in the same situation?
Thanks for the help!

Hi there! Thanks so much for this reply-- so, he just had to bring the original police check from Panama; he didn't have to get it apostilled in Panama or anything? Is there any other document he needed from Panama besides the police check? Thank you!!
He requested the Police certificate at the Panama's Embassy in Bogota. Then he sent a writing authorization to friend to pick up the document at
"Departamento de Legalizaciones" Ave. Ricardo J. Alfaro. Tumba Muertos. Arriba del Banco Nacional del Dorado
(507) 511-4045/4046/4060
The document was apostilled, to be safe. It was only $9.00 usd

Hello!
My fiancé is Colombian but has lived in Peru for over a year, thus it is my understanding that he needs to bring a police check not just from Colombia, but also from Peru to his K1 visa interview. Do the police certificates that he gets from Peru need to be apostilled??
Thanks for any help!
Hi! You do not need to translate the police certificate to the interview. My husband had his interview back in November 2018 and he didn't translated any document for the interview. Also, he need it a police certificate for another country were he lived (Panama). Good Luck

https://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/ss5doc.htm

Thank you!!! We got the text today that USCIS got the documents and the case number (LIN), so the case will be handled by the Nebraska Service Center. Current timeline for NOA2 is anywhere between 7-9 months.
You are welcome!
My husband was petitioned by his USC son. Thanks God everything were approved without any issues. He will comes to US this weekend for its first time. The whole process was about a year.

That's what the recording said when I called NVC today afternoon, english option, is not for a holiday they are not working It is mourning for president Bush passed away. Again is not a holiday they are celebrating.
The information is correct!!! ( La información es correcta!!! )
I am sorry for when I said “is not a Holiday” I do understand about the mourning of Ex-President Bush.
