My children and I are in the U>S> on k3/k4 i now have my 10 year green card but the kids k4 has since expired We are now in the position to file paperwork for a new visa for them then to get their green cards.Where do I start? do I just do the I130 or is there something else I have to do? Please i hope to get forms done today thank you

hello we have the same status i came in here k3 visa and my kids is k4 visa , i filed Form I-130 for each one of them , coz i have 3 kids , i paid each one for 300 something and paid for 670 for aos i think since they adjust the same time with me, but i never let their visa to be expired coz if its exprired thats another issue .

my friend just got his fiance here to the states, and wants to know if it would be able to get his wife's family a visitor visa. He wants this before the 90 day period, so they could be here for their wedding. Is it possible and likely to get a visitor visa in that short a time frame?

how long does the fiance who receives the k1 visa have before she has to leave the country and come to America? I.E.. the expiration of the visa?

Should I put the address where we are living right now even i put it already in the upper part coz the word is intends but they already here , or just put N/A?

Im having a confusion in the matter of the AOS , Me and my kids came here in K3 K4 visa last Dec 2007. I have approved I-130 it was approved the same day my I-129F was approved. My question is when we file the AOS for my kids that is under K4 visa next year on feb 2009.

1. Do I need to file first the I-130 for my kids that ages 6,8,9 yrs old since my husband dont file for them yet so they can adjust the status ?

2. Can I file them both the I-485 with the I-130 at the same time when i file my AOS ?

It's been almost 36 hours now since we last talk and that phone conversation only lasted for like 3 minutes??? How can I not make Tampo now?

Although I have been realizing that I have been too sensitive and insensitive, and I have been childish (in some way or another), I still want my fiance` to make SUYO in a very simple way that does not require too much effort and so on when things like this happens... I always look forward to just laugh on my tampo when it is over, but it always get worst because he totally ignore me.

Anyways, as always, it will be fine if he will not make suyo because I can't take it anymore and I am wanting for us to be ok.

And like now, he turned off his phone (that's what he always do when we have this kind of thing which is making me feel so sad) when all I want to say is I MISS HIM and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! I am wanting to raise the white flag because I will not be able to last a day without talking to him.

there is nothing wrong in raising the white flag as long u know its ur fault , but if not dont do it. Me and my husband have difficulties the first months we arrievd here in the states but he always make sure he will make up for it even its just little things.

Childish passive aggressive behavior (tampo) should not be rewarded. If you want to convey your displeasure then say what's on your mind and discuss it. Don't expect your feelings to be understood through the silence. If you want to communicate better with your fiance, act like an adult.

The thing is, he always ignore me and we will only talk when I approach him to talk. He even sleeps so well at night without even fixing what happened while I am crying at night and not able to sleep for long hours. I think you are a good affectionate, caring Pinay. Filipinas like yourself is the reason Guys travel thousand of miles to Find and be Found by Love and Happiness abroad. You aren't being childish and sensitive, and you should be concerned when you arive to be with him in usa. He is not going to change, what you see is what you get..he can even behave worst toward you in usa, sooo you need to be concerned.

I have to comment on this one , first she is being childish on having tampo but its natural for a filipina , because me when i was still in the Philippines , when Im mad i really dont talk to him the most is 3 days, but in that between date he always tried to make up , but for what i see in this situation the girl is just the only one making effort , Long distance relationship is really very hard coz ive been there , weve met 2004, married 2007 and just been here dec 2007 , so how long is that , but in that time we make sure everyday we talked by phone or by net. I dont want to be judgemental , but i agree in what she said that what if she is here in the states and when she is upset , he will just ignore her ? . I think you have to talk about that before u go here , coz Tampo is gonna be always part of the relationship and as couple you should both know how to resolve it . As for me Im so lucky to have my husband coz since i was still there in the philippines he always make the way to make up ( lol he said Im the most spoiled filipina) he met. If ur under k3 ur wife cant apply for SSN unless she has the EAD card , the EAD card u can apply separately it will cost you $340 , but if u will file it along with the AOS cost u nothing . Im in k3 visa also thats what i did , my EAD took 42 days my SSN took 2 wks .

No , u have to apply first the EAD if ur will not apply the AOS at the same time , u cant get SSN until u hve the EAD card. and the EAD fee is 340 , mine took 42 days from filling in vermont center , I also applied for SSN last friday in moss point mississippi , it said in my letter 2 wks. I guess it vary every state how long it would be received.

i dont also asked for my bc , i just showed my EAD card and passport

yap its depend where state u live u can read the information in the directions of the forms and also the address where u can send it

My fiancee had to get a NBI for a new job ( say one/two months ago). I have never seen the document myself, how long are these good for and do they need to be requested seperately for Embassy?

as far as i know the NBI for job is only for employment the NBI for international is different , its noted there for travel and the color is light green . better to check it first before the interview .

got my EAD in 42 days vermont center now applying for SSN

Yes , K3 have to get EAD first , thats what i did coz i called the SSN office they said i have to show first the EAD card not only the receipt that we applied. My EAD process took 42 days only , its on my timeline . We gonna apply for SSN today.

My mom is in LPR status and i have a brother who is a japanese and carry a japanese passport as well , he came here as tourist , now my mom wants to apply for his petition while he staying here. My question is that are they going also the same process ? filing the I-130 first , then wait for the approval of it then file the AOS , or file then as the same time, 2nd question is while they are waiting for the approval of the petition is my brother have to apply for the non immigrant extension since he enter here as tourist ? or if they cannot file the petition what other option they can use so that my brother wont have to go back in japan? I guess you got my PM already but yes Guam is your POE. But that's just for Immigration. Baggage is another matter. When we flew from Manila to Guam and then on to Honolulu last February, we got our bags in Honolulu, not Guam.

just want to say i came to guam for my POE its very easy and most of the immigration is pinoy , the one that asked for my envelope even same place where I am in philippines cavite , so what happen is that we talked like magkababayan. And same as other i also get my baggage in honolulu for the inspection . I flew last dec 12 , its a long flight and i had also continental airlines , i like the airlines they have complete meal and their meal is good . my kids like them .

Im not a lawyer but from what i understand in our law , you can check in the NSO for that if its recorded that ur married , if it is recorder then u can request for change of a surname for ur kids just prove that ur not married to the guy , who by the way signed the bc of the kids ? if the father u can say that u dont hve any idea he told the midwife ur married , if you then u can tell its honest mistake coz before usually midwife make mistake in submitting documents, especially if they are the one who submit , you try to go to the local register and tell them u want to change the status of that , about the embassy i think u would not have a problem about their papers as long u can prove to them that they are ur children and u really never been married before coz im sure they will check ur background coz of the issue. but try to ask the local municipal in where their name is recorded , maybe they help u out for the records..
